Here! After a freak jousting accident at a Medieval Times restaurant, SpongeBob and Patrick are transported to a medieval version of Bikini Bottom. The two are mistaken for great knights, and soon they are entrusted with the quest of saving King Krabs' daughter, Princess Pearl, from the clutches of the evil wizard Lord Plankton. To keep them company, the King sends along Squidward, the court jester (who was recently thrown in the dungeon for not being funny). The first obstacle they encounter is the dreaded Black Knight, an ornery squirrel who fights under the spell of Lord Plankton. But Sir SpongeBob bests the Black Knight in a brilliant display of Karate, and even breaks Plankton's hold on her. The Black Knight pledges herself to the heroes' cause, and the group of four marches on to Lord Plankton's lair where they encounter the giant fire-breathing jelly fish. Fortunately Sir SpongeBob has just the thing that will tame the dangerous beast, a krabby patty that he was saving in his pocket for lunch. The knights finally get through Plankton's defenses, save Princess Pearl, and restore peace to the kingdom. When SpongeBob and Patrick awake the next morning, they are back in their present day home. Everything is as it should be, except for that giant fire breathing jelly fish that's hanging around them. [edit] Trivia The entire episode is a parody of the movie Black Knight, starring Martin Lawrence. In the movie, it was one person named Jamal Walker and in the episode, it's two persons, SpongeBob (referred in "Patrick SmartPants" as Robert) and Patrick. The plot of Black Knight is that Jamal Walker (played by Lawrence) is an employee in Medieval World, an amusement park. He falls into the moat, and when he comes round he finds himself in Medieval England. In the plot of the episode, SpongeBob and Patrick visit a Medieval Times restaurant and are transported to a medieval version of Bikini Bottom after a freak jousting accident. The ending of the episode is based on the movie ending. In the ending of the episode, they're back to present day and everything is as it should be, except for that giant fire breathing jelly fish that's hanging around them. In the movie ending, Jamal (Martin Lawrence) leads his army of peasants and defeats knight Percival and saves Victoria, bringing the Queen back to her throne. Victoria was going to go back to the future with Jamal, but he falls back to the magical lake and returns. He then saves the castle he was working at and meets a girl named Nicole who looks exactly like Victoria. He then falls back into the water and the movie ends with him in the Coliseum in ancient Greece as a lion starts to attack him. Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunces_And_Dragons" |
