SpongeBob SquarePants: Driven to Tears question?

in driven tears at the beginging patrick says that spongebob has failed the boating school test 57 and in the episode "boating school" (season 1) he has failed 30 somthing times and in the episode Mrs. Puff, You're Fired (season 4) he failed 100000 times but in the order they did it is "boating school" (season 1) Mrs. Puff, You're Fired (season 4) then driven to tears in that order so my question is
how can he fail 30 times and then fail 100000 and then 57 times??? in that order

In boating school he failed 38 times. In Mrs Puff you're fired the number raised to 1,00,000 times. His boating records were destroyed so it's like he never failed. By the end Driven to tears he failed 58 more times!

Good theiroies guys, "Boating School", may have happened before "Driven to Tears", and lastly could have come "Ms. Puff, you're fired", there is no real time revealed in the series on which these episodes may have come in any order. Some cartoons are just made that way, spongebob failing is just a "Running Gag" in the series anyway.
