    I was just thinking, do you think that Squidward's character was modeled after Bert from Sesame Street? (You know, from Ernie and Bert). I mean, they have the same nose, they're both grumpy,similar voice...sorry if this topic has already been posted. I don't really come on the Spongebob forum a lot.

    Know that you mention it, there really is a comparison. Only Squidward tends to be more fierce at times.

    True. I kind of think that's 'cause they can't really be fierce on Sesame Street since it's a lil kid's show.
