SpongeBob SquarePants: Does anybody else besides me think Season 4 episodes stink?

Honestly the change to Spongebob's voice, the new character personalities and just plain stupidness has now made me stop watching the episodes because I really don't like them. I like sillyness, but not stupidness. And as already mentioned, the character changes make me angry. Example: Sandy is no longer a fun-loving karate freak, but a scientist.
Does anybody else agree with me?

Well, I like the episodes. But I also noticed that some classic things have changed. SpongeBob's voice is higher. Patrick seems like he is a little smarter in some episodes. Here's my advice. If you haven't seen the final quarter of season 4, get the Season 4 Vol.2 DVD because the episodes on Disc 2 are really good even though they didn't air. However, I do agree that some of the characters have changed, though.

They stink a little some episodes are good but the episode titled The Best Day Ever was for me the worst episode of SpongeBob ever created.

There are some good season 4 episodes. I like "Krusty Towers" the most out of the season 4 episodes.

Sandy was always a scientist. Didn't you see the Season 1 episode, "Sandy's Rocket"?

And I like Season 4

That's because Season 4 focuses more on the Krusty Krab and the relationships between Spongebob, Squidward, Patrick, and Sandy. There aren't that many karate episodes in Season 4 anyway. I think the beginning of Season 4 was bad, but it started getting better (namely Season 4 Volume 2(both discs))

Forget about what I said earlier, here's the deal. Early Season 4 stunk (with the exception of 2 or 3 episodes) It's impoving with age. It's kinda out of character. If SpongeBob was only Season 4, I would watch it, but it wouldn't be my favroite show.

It's Spongebob's voice for me. I just can't understand why it's so higher than usual. It makes no sense, and it has me focusing more on his voice then the actual show. Also, I don't agree that Patrick has gotten smarter, he's still the same. Sandy has ALWAYS been a scientist, I actually liked the fact that they focused a little more on that, now I know how Sandy makes a living at least. So far my favorite of this season is Whale of a birthday. I LOVED it. Probably because I rarely see Pearl. Anyway, this season would have passed with flying colors if only Spongebob's voice had remained the same. I mean really what are they trying to pull with that?

Sure, his voice got really annoying. But try not to pay alot of attention to it. And the way he cries now is funnier. For example in "That's No Lady" when he says "I can't believe you're leaving... with all my pickles!", it was hilarious.

The second half of season four is better. My favorite in the season is "Wishing You Well".

I used to hate the episodes, but have learned to like them. Worst season four episodes for me were: Best Day Ever
and Whale of a birthday. The moral of Whale of a birthday is that if your dad has tons of money, and buys you everthing on your birthday, you can love him. Thats really messed up.

I think they're trying to make the episodes bad and childish as an overreaction to the controversial season 3 episode "Rock a Bye Bialve". The rest of the third season was normal because they finished it before "Rock a Bye Bialve" was aired.
