We all know and love Spongebob, but when he wears dresses and rollers, are these signs that the sponge may be crooked? He has never had a girlfriend either.

He is NOT gay if that is what you are saying! I know it may seem that way,, especially since him && Patrick had that baby clam && Patrick said *lets have another* but how can you think that?! It is an innocent cartoon!

I dont think he is, i think hes a great nicktoon, and the clam episode just had some like jokes like that. I think hes straight, i mean, hes good friends with Sandy, Pearl kissed him once and sB & patrick have known each other FOREVER,(bff club).

Have you ever seen Bugs Bunny or any other classic cartoons at the time? the sponge cant be gay because they do it for gags. Spongebob does act fruity at times but what do you expect? its a silly cartoon!

i know what you mean... like, in the episode of "number #1" he asked Mr. Krabs if he was a pretty girl... what's up with that? since that episode i've thought of spongebob as gay.
