    I agree. How could people get dumb from a cartoon? I've watched this show all my life and I'm an A+ student.

    No, it's just a cartoon. Maybe those people just choose to be stupid on their own or aren't afraid to act silly. The show isn't like a hypnotizer or anything.

    That doesn't really prove anything. Besides, my brothers, father and I all watch it and my dad and I are quite intelligent. Sure, my youngest brother is a special ed student, but I don't blame Spongebob for that because he was born like that. As for the middle child, he's at average intelligence. Thus, you have nothing to prove but that you are justsomeone who wants to blame stupidity on a show you despise. That being said, I'm off to a better forum.

    Ummmmmmm... I guess some people get stupider...butthen again some people get smarter and some just stay the way they are. I guess it just depends on the person.
