SpongeBob SquarePants: did you notice this?

since yesterday, when i was watching spongebob, the ratings changed for all the episodes. now they're TV-Y7 instead of TV-Y. does anyone know why?

Actually, you probably saw some of the more suggestive episodes. Like most shows, Spongebob Squarepants is not given a specific rating for the entire series, but ratings that are specific to the episode in question only. Usually SS will fall under the TV-Y or TV-Y7 category depending upon the charareristics of the specific episode. If the episode has nudity, like Nature Pants or the Pranks episode, it's going to get a TV-Y7 rating. Same goes for ones that include language or mild adult themes, like Sailor Mouth. You probably just saw a bunch of Spongebob episodes rated TV-Y7. Certain episodes are going to stay TV-Y. Just to let you know.

Yes I can see a lot of the newer episodes getting TV-Y7 ratings. That is true Spongebob Squarepants doesn't fall under one rating like most of the shows do.
