Which was better?

    Well since my last one was a little to obvious about which episode was better, I decided to do one about mystery episodes. The two culprits, Patty Caper and The Smoking Peanut. How are these two similar some may ask? Well they both involve a mystery. The Smoking Peanut was about who stole the pearl of Clamu and Patty Caper was about who stole the secret ingredient. The funny thing is that they both ended up having the same culprit in the end.

    Anyways, I liked Patty Caper better because it was well written, I enjoyed watching Mr Krabs pay for being cheap, and its my favorite of season 6 (so far). Plus, I hated The Smoking Peanut. It was my least favorite of season 2.

    Well enough about my opinion, lets hear everyone elses

    I'm glad that you, like me, would choose a season 6 episode over a season 2 one. Patty Caper was great and as for the "mystery" theme it was better too because you never knew who stole the ingredient, as for The Smoking Peanut you always thought that the clam was crying because the peanut and not the pearl, so that was a good twist at the end. They are both pretty good, though.

    -agrees with SquidBob-

    The Patty Caper was okay for a season six episode, but the way the flashbacks were written reminded me of the way the dream sequence in Blackjack was written, and I hate when the writers reuse ideas.

    The Smoking Peanut was funny, not really much of mystery since we knew SpongeBob did it all along (or at least we did at the beginning), but it was a mystery to all the other characters.

    Same here, I don't recall ever seeing "Patty Caper" so I'd have to say Smoking Peanut.
