Who do you think would be the next director/producer?

Welcome to a new segment I like to call Clappy's Debate of the Week. I am going to try every week to make a new though provoking debatable topic for everyone to discuss.

    Now onto this week's topic!

We all know that when Stephen Hillenburg resigned, he gave the reigns to Paul Tibbitt.

Now the question I would like to debate is hypothetical. Let's say Paul Tibbitt resigns. Who would you like to see take the reigns of the role of director/producer of SpongeBob?

Even though his writing has been somewhat subpar as of late, I think the most realistic option would be Aaron Springer because he has been part of the writing crew for as long as the show has been running. But thats just me.

Anyway I listed some options up above, but feel free to throw any name out there, including Stephen Hillenburg again (but a real long shot though)

None, possibly, Dan and C.H quit to work on another show, and I thought they can't go in two places, Derek too, but the Diggs Tailwagger thing is going to get him distracted. Aaron, is going downhill really fast, he might make the show even worse in my opinion. Someone else should, like Merriwether Williams, Mark O'Hare, etc, once they come back. Wait, did I say none, never mind. But Paul Tibbitt is doing a great job.

I think Derek Drymon should. Merriwether Williams was good with the writing- but I think Paul Tibbit, Steve Hillenburg and Derek Drymon know SpongeBob the best- all of SpongeBob. The other workers know SpongeBob for his design, his lines, all of that, but Paul, Steve and Derek have always been there and still here.

Well the reason I have CH on there is because Chowder is supposively ending soon, so maybe he would head on back to SpongeBob if the job was open.

Dan has had success with Phineas and Ferb, but I don't see it ending just yet, but that's why I put him on there.

If C.C. Greenblatt is available, I would like him to take the reigns.

C.H. Greenblatt no doubt. He is by far, in my opinion, the most creative one out of those options. He'd send the show in the best direction.

Even though he's on another show, C.H. Greenblatt FTW! He's made many of my favorite episodes. I never fail to laugh at an episode he came up with. IMO he was the best crew guy SpongeBob ever had.

I agree that Aaron Springer would be a good candidate for executive producer, since he's been working on the show since Day 1, and still works on the show to this day. I'm not really sure who Dan Povenmire is, and I'm pretty sure C.H. Greenblatt is now working for Cartoon Network. Also, I think Derek Drymon is on the verge of moving on to another project.

The directer of P and F wrote The Graveyard Shift and Wet Painters? Wow, didn't know that; interesting!

I'd say Derek Drymon since he helped Stephen develop SpongeBob, heck, he even co-wrote the theme song, and he, along with Stephen, collaborated on the writing of all the season 1-3 episodes. He has been there ever since the beginning and I know him and Steve are pretty close, so maybe he would take the show on the right tracks.
Now, I love Carl Greenblatt, all his episodes are genius, but is there a realistic chance of him coming back? Same with Merriwheter Williams, probably the best story editor the show ever had, but no one knows what happened to her and if she'll ever go back to the show.
