SpongeBob SquarePants: Cancelled?!

Why do a lot of people on this board and other nicktoon boards think that Spongebob is getting cancelled in 2007 or 2008? From some of the posts I've read, they seem positive it is being cancelled. Nickelodeon ordered 20 episodes recently, so Nickelodeon is the only one who knows if they decide not to renew it or not.

I AGREE BECAUSE I KNOW NICKELODEON HAS THE RIGHTS AND EVEN THOUGH I AM ALSO A SPONGEBOB FAN EVEN IF IT DOES GET CANCELLED THEY ARE STILL GOING TO SHOW REPEATS AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE A FAN ALSO KNOW THAT IF IT DOES WE ALREADY OWN THE SEASON SETS. AND THAT'S A GOOD THING. AND EVEN THOUGH IT STILL HAS 20 MORE EPISODES TO GO BECAUSE THEY ORDERED THAT MANY MORE FOR A NEW SEASON WE WILL BE HAVING FUN SEEING IT UNTIL THE END OF IT'S RUN. I HOPE AND I'M GUESSING THAT THEY WILL HAVE AS MANY SEASONS AS THE RUGRATS DID. OR MORE LIKE THE SIMPSONS. BECAUSE IT'S STILL POPULAR AND THE MOST SEASONS NICK HAD WAS FOR RUGRATS AND I/WE THE FANS WILL BE HAPPY IF IT MAKES IT THAT FAR TO SUCCEED. TO BE THE 2ND LONGEST RUNNING SHOW AND TRY AND BEAT 10 SEASONS. I HOPE. OR HAVE THEM START MAKING TV MOVIES. AND I AM HOPING THEY HAVE A 2ND AND 3RD MOVIE. OR MORE. BUT I HOPE THEY HAVE AN EPISODE IN CGI OR THE WHOLE MOVIE IN THAT I DON'T KNOW. BUT THAT WOULD SOUND SO COOL. THAT CAN BE THE WHOLE SEASON 5 WOULD BE IN CGI. THAT WAY WE HAVE SOME UP TO DATE TECHNOLOGY ON OUR FAVORITE SHOW IN THE UNIVERSE. SORRY FOR THE LONG LETTERS I USUALLY GET CARRIED AWAY ON IDEAS.

this show wont be canceled anytime soon beleive me its too popular and they have a lot more ideas on how to continue a great show

I don't think SpongeBob will be cancelled, the show is funny, it's won KCA 4 years in a Row. Im suprised it hasn't won an Emmy.

For the guy who said something about SpongeBob SquarePants in CGI, I would say that it won't be a very great idea. Why? I've seen the graphics of those SS games which use RenderWare, and I could say that SpongeBob is meant to stay 2D! Probably, I'm wrong and the developers can make SpongeBob look actually good in 3D. Till then, I'm satisfied with the excellent 2D artworks from the show.

I'm the guy who said something about SpongeBob SquarePants in CGI and your missing my point. I'm not talking about RenderWare animation. I'm talking about Dreamwork Animation, Pixar animation, or DNA animation.

true, it's the one with most stuff out there in the market: bathroom sets, bedroom sets, toys,.........

Let's not think about SB getting cancelled...it only makes me more mad that Hillenburg handed his job over to Drymon...
