Well, this is a rather humorous story about my science class.. And yes, it is true, and it is SpongeBob-related.

In science, we were learning about genetics, and stuff like that. Like, what people's kids will look like depending on what "traits" their parents have. Last week, we got a worksheet, and I looked at it as it was being passed back to me, and saw the words "Bikini Bottom", and of course the first thing I thought of was SpongeBob. And then, I heard someone singing the theme song. So I'm sitting there thinking "What is going on...?" And when I actually get the worksheet, the first word I see is "SpongeBob". And so, I was thinking "Is this... what I think it is...?" And yes. It was. Our class was given a worksheet that involves SpongeBob characters.

And, since we were learning about genetics, the worksheet involved the characters meeting people of the opposite sex, and having kids. That part was kind of creepy... But anyway, SpongeBob meets a girl named "SpongeSusie Roundpants", who is round like SpongeBob's parents, and blue. Patrick meets "Patti", who is pink. And then, it said that Squidward's family "brags that they are a purebred line", and he meets a girl, and blah blah blah, all that.

And Mr. Krabs (Who was typed as "Mr. Krabbs" on the worksheet) has a wife, and it said "Mr. Krabbs and his wife recently had a "Lil' Krabby", but it has not been a happy occasion for them..." Yeah. And we also had Bikini Bottom Genetics 2. It was very wierd, but I thought it was amusing and I hope you do too.

I wish our assignments were like that. All we have is just the regular assignment with no storyline attached. Did you get an A on it?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did. I got that genetics stuff more than most of my classmates.

Mostly do Punnett squares, if any of you know what those are. And yes. Really.

I don't know the questions on the worksheet, but I know that Punnett Squares are used to determine what traits you would inherit from your parents. Like if your parents are tall, you have a better chance of being tall. If your parents are one tall and one short, then whichever has the dominant allele will determine your height.

Yeah, that's it. When I get back from school, I'll draw one on Paint and use [IMG][/IMG] things to put it here.

Yeah, this is a Punnett square:

This is the Punnett square we had to do to determine whether SpongeBob and SpongeSusie's children would be round or square. The genotypes are Ss and ss, so their kids could either be heterozygous square (Which, according to the worksheet, SpongeBob is) or homozygous round. (Which SpongeSusie is).

I saw a Simpsons episode where Bart was trying to find out which way the toilet flushes.

Hmm. At first I thought the teachers made that assignment, but I guess I was wrong, since other people did it.

Ya I did stuff like that in probebly late junior high early high school but we didn't do anything on Spongebob we did it on animals like house cats and dogs and even bugs such as flies. WE had to do those punnet squares to actually I think I did them in the 10th grade if i remember correctly.
