Bikini Bottom Based Off Seattle?

    Hi, I'm new to these forums (sorry if there is already another thread, if there is, then lock this topic.)

    I read from an article on wikipedia that the creator of spongebob says that bikini bottom is supposed to be based on Seattle, Washington. I remember that in a episode of spongebob when sandy wanted to do dangerous activities with spongebob before her hibernation, they were fighting on top of the sea needle (It was loosley based off of the Space Needle, a famous landmark in seattle.) Did anyone find other similarities between both cities?

    NOw that you mention it there is a mildly similar connection between Bikini Bottom and Seattle but i read somewhere that the exact location of B.B. is off the coast off Fiji in the south pacific.........well thats what i heard anyway

    that part kills it. it might be true, but wikipedia is not worth it.
