    For me, it was a fierce struggle between Spongebob and Avatar, but I ended up picking Spongebob. The more I think about it, the more I think I should have chosen Avatar though, because in my opinion Avatar was amazing from episode 1 to episode 61, but Spongebob's quality went down slightly during season four, and the fact that seasons 1-3 were fantastic doesn't necessarily make up for that.

    I have to agree with you there. Avatar was really solid (REALLY solid) throughout, while SpongeBob has hit some bumps in the road.

    I'd disagree with that. Going downhill is going downhill. It doesn't matter when it happened. And if you want to get technical, Avatar had 61 episodes, pre-movie SB had 60. Went downhill in 61.

    First of all, I thought Episode 61 (Fear of a Krabby Patty) was EXCELLENT. And how is that fair? Writing 7 seasons is a lot harder than writing three.
