This thread is my 900th forum post! XD
Does anyone here love Skill Crane? I actually love that episode! I thought it was a pretty good season 4 episode! But I saw some reviews and stuff saying that this is a bad episode because Squidward gets tortured in this episode due to continuous losses at a stuffed animal crane game, and he loses all his money! Poor Squiddy! But I somehow didn't mind that happening to him that much, I still thought this was a great episode, what with Mr. Krabs getting all of those gold quarters and Squidward's Deed to his house. Its like Mr. Krabs was winning treasure. This episode to me was fun to watch! Especially SpongeBob winning all of those prizes like Beary and Mr. Clown-Frown. And also Beary's little brother!
But hey you know what was best of all? At the end of the episode, even Squidward gets a prize! A cute little teddy bear! Good cos he really deserved a prize! I even liked the part where Squidward and SpongeBob were at that construction site with all of those glorious buildings! And Squidward tries to operate a mechanical giant driving crane! But then it goes out of control! At least SpongeBob tries to help Squiddy! I wonder what those Construction Workers were gonna do with Squidward...
So again I loved this episode! I give it a 9/10! I feel that this episode is underrated, because some people trash it just because it had some more Squidward torture where to me it wasn't that bad at all, and there has been episodes where he faced MUCH worse, like Good Neighbors for example. Speaking of Good Neighbors this episode is probably also brought down because Skill Crane is sadly paired with a disgraceful episode such as Good Neighbors. What a shame. Its too bad Skill Crane had to be paired with a cruel episode such as that (Good Neighbors.) Oh well, I still love Skill Crane! Everyone else give out your opinions on this episode now too!

One of the best of season 4... at last according to many fans.Pretty good episode, I absolutely love the music on the tilte card!

It got crazy, but it was still a fair enough episode (bad animation, though). I still count it as one of the B-episodes from season 4.

That music was also used in "Mid-Life Crustacean" and some other episodes.

Overall, I liked it.
Good points:
- When I first saw it, I mistook it for a Season 3 episode. No joke. That right there is a compliment enough.
-It had plenty of funny moments, like Mr. Krabs hiding inside of SpongeBob's body, SpongeBob rearranging the toys inside the thing, Mr. Krabs counting Squidward's quarters, and of course Squidward going all nutso when he finally wins.
-It makes you feel for Squidward, both happy and sad feelings. That's better than being an emotionally unaffecting episode.
-Like you said, the Squidward abuse wasn't AS bad as some other episodes.
Bad Points:
-Still, the Squidward abuse could have been a little lighter.
-PUSHING THE REMOTE WITH HIS EYE. Nuff said.
-The ending.
But overall, yeah, I liked it. I'm able to watch it and enjoy it. Definitely one of the best of Season 4, and does an excellent job of emulating the style of the golden era.
