I've seen proof on many threads that you all hate him and all find him very annoying, but I actually don't find him annoying one bit! There also threads like "Who thinks Larry is annoying"? that has A LOT of people agreeing with that and saying mean things about him(also ridiculous name-calling) But I don't find him as a bad character in any way, and there is some evidence that he is a somewhat good character in my point of view. Is there anyone else besides me that actually likes this character?! If not, then I AM WEIRD!!! And if you do like him, why?

He's ok but not the best

Better Than Pearl alot Better

Larry isn't the best, but I think he's the coolest character and I don't find him as a showoff, and even if he was, I would probably like him the same. Also, has anyone noticed that he has the same voice as Plankton(though not as cruel or maniacal)? I also find Patrick pretty cool, and SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs too. So, even if Sandy's stronger than him(this may not be true for the fact she was showing off in my opinion), she isn't as cool as Larry, and not as popular(I mean character's opinions in the show). He's very friendly, which is another reason he's a great character, but most people(and some characters) I think take it the wrong way. He never really took Sandy away from SpongeBob, they aren't together at all! He also doesn't seem to showoff on other people, but he does have weaker spots. Here's a list of them:

-Needs more appearences(especially in Season 4!)
-Needs more of a sense of humor(Similar problems for Sandy and Pearl)
-Needs other things to enjoy besides working out, surfing, playing volleyball, and getting a tan
-Needs to appear in other places besides Goo Lagoon
-Needs to meet more characters like Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs(and maybe Plankton and Gary)
And finally -Needs more respect from people

Again, he's not the best character, I like Patrick, SpongeBob, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and maybe even Plankton better than him. But I don't hate him or find him annoying, and he's great for a character that has few appearences, much better than Mrs. Puff and Pearl! Anyway, that's all I have to say.

Now, I hope you're not all thinking that he's my favorite character, because he's not, and not too close! But I do like him better than some other characters like Sandy(the ONLY main character I find annoying in some or most episodes), Mrs. Puff, and Pearl.

Larry isn't funny, but Sandy isn't either, and neither Pearl nor Mrs. Puff! Larry seems to be the only good non-funny character, but Sandy's also good because she's more action than the main characters.

My favorite character is obviously spongebob himself, but i agree that Larry is one of the better minor characters. He actually can be funny a lot of times too, like in Musclebob buffpants, SpongeGuard on Duty and Patty hype.

I think Sandy is only annoying whenever she beats everyone up and acts like shes better. But shes actually a cool character
