I can understand why it's not too high, mainly season 5. But if the episodes are getting better, then it's score should go a little higher, right? I remember just a couple months ago when it used to be on 8.7, but then it went back down to 8.6

Well there have been a lot of low quality episodes in recent years. If you said that back before season four's premiere, I would strongly agree, but these days, it's rating is alright. Maybe an 8.7 or 8.8 would be a little more suitable, though.
