Why does everyone hate Season 1?

    i personally think it's the best season!

    I don't think everyone hates it. It's just now that the characters have matured,episodes in latter seasons are more interesting. Atleast thats how I look at it.

    I don't hate it it just like Ckeckpoint24 said, the characters have matured and in my opinion they are more fun to watch in later seasons. Freddie for example is almost a different character in Season 1 than he is in season 3. This being because he hit puberty. Bottom line, most people like the later seasons BETTER. They don't exactly hate the first season, at least I don't .

    I don't think people hate Season 1, they would have loved it when it first came out. It's just that it became old.

    For example, would you rather live in the 1980's or the 2010's?

    i can name at least 4 or so bad episodes from s2 and s3. Season one i can think of episodes i might think are boring, but those are usually ones i have seen a lot (such as ihave a love sick teacher). s1 was funnier more so i think, but 2 and 3 are also quite funny and have good plots...

    Season one is the one and only good season.


    Season two had only four good episodes, season three is all junk besides iHave My Principals.


    Like all of Schneider's show, iCarly degenerates really fast, no, it degenerated even much faster than Zoey 101 or Drake & Josh did.


    The characters got corrupted faster than at speed of light.

    Hmm, a bit rough don't you think.

    Every season has got better rating's as it has gone on, but it's still alright to think Season 1 is the best.

    I just think that season is oldish now.

    Season 1 IMHO was the best season. I didn't have one episode I didn't like. Plus I laughed more. 2 was still good but 3 was a total hit and miss.

    i dont HATE season 1 but i kinda dislike it cause its a little boring and old the first part of season 2 was okay but the second part was great and season 3 was def the best

    I might start having to watch some of the 'Season 1' episodes to remember what they were like.
    (Only Season 1, Volume 1- is out in my country so far.).
    The episodes on them, are kinda boring and oldish.

    I skipped most of season 1 because when they were younger they were all so annoying. Carly, Sam and Freddie were absolutely one dimensional. I hated Freddie in season 1 (he's one of my favorites now) and thought Sam was way more obnoxious during that period. Plus the episodes weren't that funny.

    but....Spencer was, and always is, a BEAST! He's the best part of every episode (:

    I think the first season of every show is a little different compared to the other seasons. Think about it: Its filmed before it even premieres. No one knows how people will react, and they have to break in the character so they can work with it and play it up to the best. And I only thought Freddie was annoying cause he sounded like a girl and never shut up about Carly. I'm glad he hit puberty (got really hot, imo) and stopped with the constant carly crap. And in my opinion, Carly is STILL stuck in the first season "one-dimensonal" character thing.
