Finally going to see Carly's father?

    Cosgrove just tweeted that she is heading to a USN submarine base in Connecticut. Carly's father is supposed to be in the navy and serving on a submarine. Does this mean we will finally get to see Carly and Spencers dad, or is this just some publicity thing?

    I think it's been known for a while that Colonel Shay will be in iMTFL. The plot of the episode is they they set up a video chat with him.

    Hmm oh really, I never knew this. I reckon it's probably a good thing we don't see her father though. We get to imagine what he looks like.

    No, Cosgrove tweeted this just about 9 hours ago. Of course maybe it is a sequel--there seems to be way too many sequels this season.

    It sounds like Miranda just visited a submarine base. What does that have to do with iCarly?

    Like I explained Carly's father is supposed to be in the navy on a submarine--maybe the characters went to the base to visit Spencer and Carly's father. But like I also said it could also be a publicity thing. And other cast members are going with her. Cosgrove also tweeted a pic of Jerry Trainor asleep on the bus (how could anyone fall asleep on one of those? They are so noisy and have a rough ride--in a Rolls Royce you could fall asleep, but on a bus?)

    Actually it was clarified a long time ago by Dan that he was in the Air Force on the sub, but either or, you never know if it's for the show or maybe they're just going for the hell of it

    Seems I got confused but how could I help it--why would someone in the Air Force be on a submarine? Well, this show's logic is totally whack.

    Actually there are plenty of reasons why someone in the air force would be on a submarine, all the branches of the military do work in conjunction of one another. It's late for my brain right now, so I don't have much oomph to my post, but I can definitely say it's fully possible (I do come from a military family)

    Isn't broadcasting pictures of a real military submarine base a huge security risk and usually outlawed?Russian spies could watch iCarly.

    I'm pretty certain that this visit is just a visit-a publicity thing. And do we know for CERTAIN that they're actually gonna SHOW Mr. Shay on iMeet the First Lady? I know the whole episode is about the video chat with him, but that doesn't mean they'll show him. Has anyone actually heard that?

    We've also never seen Michelle Obama before either, but I put the suspicion that we see him based off we hear Nathan talking about how they were co were considering George Clooney playing Carly's father
