One show I could never start and finish......within a year

George Clooney was speculation, if I'm correct. It may be him, it may not. I kind of hope it is at the same time, because he is awesome, and for some reason I think he would fit the character

Oh, and if he appears, it probably marks the first MALE parent we've seen on the show (Of the main characters and stuff, we're not counting the one male parent of Nora's, which was probably the first married parents we've seen). Would think that he'd be too big of an actor to take the roll, much less be offered it, but if they can get Michelle Obama, they can get anyone.

There ought to be some way, some sort of leak somewhere that tells us for sure if Carly's dad appears and/or who the guest star for him is

It may be, I still think it's quite unlikely still. I hope it is him, not someone like Jack Black though. That's true, that would be quite weird for the iCarly viewers to see a male parent. Spencer is the closest thing we've got at the moment. Not sure how they got Michelle Obama on the show though.

I think they'd have to have a serious person playing Mr. Shay, not a comedian, he just seems like a serious guy from what we know. As for George Clooney, he's just awesome. Michelle Obama probably requested it because her daughters liked it so much, AND it's probably also a publicity thing. Whether they say it or not, it's politicians, of course it's publicity and trying to appease the general public.

Maybe there is, and if there is, hopefully someone will say. I could check out the seddie 2ya forums, they usually are more in depth with these things.

Yeah it seems that way. Sucks, but oh well. Sounds like it's still a possibility that Carly's dad may appear in the future, but as for right now I suppose this video confirms we won't be seeing the dad anytime soon.

Oh, is that where you were for a few minutes. Yeah, I wish we don't see Carly's dad. It would ruin people's imagination of what he may look like. Same with Socko.

Yeah, wasn't so sure. With Sam's mom, we were lucky that we got Jane Lynch to play her. That was good and it was believable.
