    This show is going to be a little different than The Last Airbender. First, it will be a 12 episode mini-series. All 12 episodes will be written by Mike and Bryan. Second, I heard that the series will be more mature than the last one, meaning that there won't be as much humor. I'm pretty sure most of you know that by now.


    Anyways, this is a thread about the show saying whatever you want to say.

    When I heard news about this show, it totally made my year and I cant wait for it! Uhhgggg it feels like I'm waiting for season 3 all over again....

    We can still see them, just not in the present with the new characters.

    yeah it's probably better all the characters died or else people would have been like oh Aang died so Zuko came in and comforted Katara and then they fell in love

    Just think, the person who teaches Korra airbending is Aang's son, Tenzin. Also, as of this series, there are six Avatars whose names are known: Yangshen, Kuruk, Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, Korra.

    I'm very delighted to see that Nick finally follows up to the huge demand on some more Avatar goodness. Bit sad it's only ... one season or so, though. And if you ask me, as a 34 year old, I was fine with the way the original series was done. I liked those jokes.

    Nick, you don't have to address more mature audiences. It's fine as it was.

    Yeah, especially if they are going to get rid of the jokes and make it as "serious" as the Avatar movie! Cool graphics but disappointing to the fans of the cartoon. Maybe more mature isn't always better. My children and I could sit and watch the Avatar cartoon together and it was very enjoyable and I look forward to anything more as I am sure they would. Not to change the subject, but all I can say is I hope it is closer to the Avatar cartoon and not the Last Air bender movie.
