    hey I think it'll be like Paris & Rory in the 2nd & 3rd seasons of Gilmore Girls. below is a direct Quote from GG that I changed to fit Avatar.

    Zuko (paris): we're friends?
    Aang (rory): I don't think there's an exact definition for what we are but I think it falls in the bizaro friends catagory.

    Sure, not fight one another and help each other out. But, have Zuko and Iroh fly around on Appa with the others, eating with them and sleeping with them. That's what I'm referring to, I think that would be rather stupid to do. It would be incredibly awkward and ruin the seperate story lines.

    ok here's my theory. Zuko and Aang will come close to being allies in mid season 3. however, in episode 18 (or around there), Zuko's dire want for his father to love him and things to turn back to normal, will overcome him and he will try to (or will) capture Aang. Aang will then defeat Ozai and by this time Azula will be gone. Zuko?? will become fire lord.??zuko will probably stop the war and keep the fire nation peaceful. when zuko is fire lord, zuko will realize just what damage the fire nation has done. he will apologize to Aang for all the trouble he has caused him and they will become friends, and the world will be at peace. does anyone agree? either that will happen, or Aang will die.

    Who says they have to fly around with them? can't he be like Haru Who is still there friend but he didn't go with them?

    it would be a little weird if they were friends, but itd work out, cause Zuko could teach help aang learn, and their group would have like 1 from all nation, katara water, toph earth zuko fire and aang from the air. then sokka. if they arent friends, maybe they wil unite themselves, to help the cause

    i dont think zuko wants to be enimies with aang but he thinks he has to capture him to restore his honor and to him resoring his honor is worth gaining another enemy. i dont think zuko would have any problems being friends with aang if he didnt need to capture him... but the thing is even if zuko does bring his father the avatar it wont bring things back to normal but zuko just wont let himself admit that and is clinging on to any scrap of hope that will bring even the smallest??part of his old life back.... i think zuko will eventually realize that his father doesnt want??him all he wants is for him to bring him the avatar and that it really wouldnt be at all like the life he rembered and that his father is a bloody jack @$$.... (excuse me).... and he should help aang and then once the firelord is gone iroh can take over and it would save the world in a long run then if he just gave the avatar over to his dad......

    and so to conclude my huge rant i think zuko and aang will become friends at some later point in the show....

    Back on topic, allies is the perfect word for it.I'm not a fan of that friendship. A good idea would be Zuko "captures" Aang, but actually sneaks him into the Fire Nation, so he's there without any trouble getting in.

    which is exactly why iroh should teach him... he can bend lightning which is EXREMELY hard and know lots of advaced stuff... and with all his tea intake he would probably be a much more patient teacher than zuko would ever be which is exactly what aang would need..

    I maintain my stance that Aang and Zuko will not join together as a group, at least not travel together. It would be weird for them to be friends, really. No matter what Zuko may have done to change his life, he was apart of the enemy at one point and you can't change that. Don't tell me he's more compassionate than anyone else in the Fire Nation ever was, because he still knew they were fighting a war and killing innocent people, yet he wanted to sit in on a war strategy meeting and become the next ruler of the nation. And since we're not fortunetellers we can't predict what truly would have happened had he not spoken out in that meeting and eventually taken the throne. So the whole "he would've stopped the war" thing would lose all credibility because there's no evidence to support.

    Anywho, enemy+hero = friends? Uhhh...no...but Nick might force the writers to do it, because its the "land of the gay right now...

    Once zuko is reformed from his sentance of course him and Aang could bond. but most likely he and Aang will be indiferent to eachother after the end.
