Funny, months ago folks couldn't wait until Zuko joined up with the Aang Gang now most fans are "A snowball's chance in Hell."

I always find that quote a funny one, considering "Hell" wasn't fire and brimstone but ice and death's cold grip. Hell is supposed to be the farthest from God, yet why would it be fire when fire is a source of light and warmth when God is lord of? Always a funny quote to me.

Truly, I could see the writers throwing Zuko in with the Aang Gang, but could more easily not so. I'm waiting to see what the writers have in store for Zuko before I'll be able to make up my find.

hah land of the gay was good....

well i guess i kinda go back on what i said a little bit... i dont know if??zuko is??going to teach aang firebending or not so im just gonna leve that part out... i think there will always be that little click between them that makes them compatible as friends and they understand eachother in a way... but there will always be that barrior kepping them from actually becoming friends... if that makes any sense what so ever...

yeah i guess kinda like "allies" i suppose but its not the word im looking for....

    ??

I maintain my stance that Aang and Zuko will not join together as a group, at least not travel together. It would be weird for them to be friends, really. No matter what Zuko may have done to change his life, he was apart of the enemy at one point and you can't change that. Don't tell me he's more compassionate than anyone else in the Fire Nation ever was, because he still knew they were fighting a war and killing innocent people, yet he wanted to sit in on a war strategy meeting and become the next ruler of the nation. And since we're not fortunetellers we can't predict what truly would have happened had he not spoken out in that meeting and eventually taken the throne. So the whole "he would've stopped the war" thing would lose all credibility because there's no evidence to support. Anywho, enemy+hero = friends? Uhhh...no...but Nick might force the writers to do it, because its the "land of the gay right now...

you know what? i completly agree with that...

I could see them as allies, if not friends.

For Aang, he needs a firebending teacher, and unless Jeong Jeong shows up again, Iroh and Zuko are the only firebenders out side of the FN who could teach him. Besides, Gaang+Zuko&Iroh=More power against Azula.

For Zuko and Iroh: Back in Season 1, Zuko was complaining about "My honor, my country, my throne, I'm about to lose them all." If Aang and the others overthrow Ozai and the army by summer's end, the FN is going to need a new ruler who needs to bring peace.?? Who better than former Prince Iroh, son of Azulon, the Dragon of the West? News of his "treason" at the NP might not have reached the civilians of the FN, so he might be popular with them. He would be backed by the Avatar, so the EK and WT might be on speaking terms with the FN.?? And he would need an heir, right? Zuko gets his status back.

    It's a win-win situation, I think.

I don't know why, but I just can't see Zuko ruling a nation that pretty much shut him out.

I just read this whole discussion and how I see it Zuko and Aang won't be friends because they need to be enemy's.. Like Naruto and Sasuke in the Naruto series.. Zuko needs to restore it's honour by capturing Aang and Aang needs to defeat Zuko's father..
But this doesn't mean that they won't have a truce, so that Iroh maybe can teach Aang firebending and Zuko will just not get involved with anyone of them.
That he can be his old grumpy self, so Aang and Zuko won't have to deal much with each other.. So when Iroh's finished and Zuko's out of danger from Azula, they go back to being enemy's
(and sorry for my bad english)

i think that when zuko finally sees the avatar the immediate thought that will go through his head is to capture the avatar, and regain his honor. but then he will realize that there isnt anyway to restore his honor anymore.

also i dont think that zuko will actully kill his dad to become firelord, or even try
