i thnik it would be possible, although i do not think uncle iroh will die. i think iroh will help aang master firebending. there will still be plenty of conflict sokka lives for it. plus we've already seen how flirty katara is with other guys besides aang. (jet and the earth nation guy she helped free) she'll defintely fall for zuko. i can see zuko killing his sister in the end and aang going after zuko's dad with zuko's help.

iroh has never appeared to have any ill will against aang, and at the siege of the north, he actually helped the aang & co. so i don't think he will have a problem joining them. zuko on the other hand has a big ego and can not easily admit he needs help.

I guess the real question is that if the 2 groups ever join can zuko really be trusted? Would zuko's dad accept him back even after capturing aang, or would he still be a traitor b/c he attacked azula?

Actually, Aang lied more than Zuko in the first season. He lied to Katara and Sokka about who he was (he said that he didn't know the Avatar), and he lied in the Great Divide, and he lied again in Bato when he hid the map to Katara and Sokka's dad. I don't think that Zuko has ever lied to Aang, or Katara or Sokka. He threatened them, but never lied as far as I can recall. Commander/Admiral Zhao was, to my recollection, the only person that Zuko lied to in season 1... I guess he lied to Song and her mom in COTL, but he really had no choice. It's not like he could have said, "hey, that's funny you mention your dad, my dad's the Fire Lord and he..."

Whether or not he could be trusted as far as his dad goes is another matter.

Now that you mention it why are they trusting so much in Aang, he's a little liar. Zuko isn't trustworthy when it comes to capturing Aang, but he does seem to understand the importance of honor. Well, until he stole Song's ostrich/animal thing.

I never really thought about Zuko joining up with the gang. I think it would sort of be cool, but odd. Iroh will probably be with them, too. I mean, in The Seige of the North (Part 2) Iroh was with Katara and Sokka when Yue became the moon spirit. But maybe he was just there because Zhao had killed the moon spirit. I'm not sure. But I think they eventually will team up.

Wow! And here I was, thinking I was the only one who had thought about this!

I have a strong beleifs that he'll team up with Aang, even if it's just for a short time (it may be the end of the series, or Zuko could die.) I mean, how elce is Aang going to learn firebending?
