Why xroads of destiny got low scores on ratings...

    I may stand alone in my argument, but crossroads of destiny got like 9.2 or something, one of the lowest scores of all the avatar episodes...

    There is no doubt in my mind that it was by far the best episode in terms of content, action, emotion, and storyline. I think it was the best episode yet, so are people scoring it low because they didn't like the result (o no, katara hates zuko), or because it was too intense (main character destroyed by lightning and killed)... I may be alone in my opinion, but I think the episode deserves much higher rating,??high 9s??at least

    It should be lower.
    It was like watching a carwreck, as somebody put it: Horrifying, but you just can't stop watching....
    I didn't like Zuko betraying EVERYBODY ((Espessially Iroh, who's been with him from day one!!!)), Azula almost killing Aang ((He may not be my fav. person, but we need him)), and lots of other things. We never find out about the Kyoshi warriors....
    The good things ((Toph's metal bending, Iroh's 'explaination' about his title, Sokka and his dad meet again, a few possible Tokka moments...)) just didn't do much to balance the bad.

    Someone has been screwing with the ratings of all the episodes or something. ALL of the season 3 episodes seem to have already been rated.

    I don't get why people hate the finale cuz bad things happened to the main characters? it all should be sunshine and rainbows? everyone goes home on a high note? can't take the bomb the creators dropped on you? deal with it or stop watchin' the show...cuz season 3 is gonna be all about picking up the pieces and somehow stopping the Fire Lord

    The reasons people are giving for not liking the finale are silly definitely. Just because everyting wasn't all good is no reason to give it a low score.

    But I do think that the finale deserves it's rating: I thought that the finale should score that low because so much of it was rushed. They spent waay too much time on Aang and the chakras and not enough on everything else deveoping in the story. There was practically no buildup to the end, Long Feng surrenders without a hitch (are you kidding me?), and no questions from this season were truly answered. we didn't find out about Iroh's trip to the spirit world, what actually happened to Ursa (though we know what Zuko thinks), or exactly what happene to Suki and Jet. The last 15 minutes of the finale should've been stretched nad developed more. That's why I think the score is appropriate.

    I didnt like the last epsidoe very much,but its very intresting.Gosh now I have to wait for months to see what happens next and its only going to be 30 minutes!extend the show for at least one hours everyfriday.

    Yes, i agree with Lord-darkboy, Crossroads of Destiny was a great episode, one of the best. Good cliff-hanger too.

    I agree many of us may have not liked the results of the episode but it was still very well done.

    I agree many of us may have not liked the results of the episode but it was still very well done.
    Some people didn't like it because things happened which they didn't want to happen, like Katara and Aang and Katara and Zuko. People also didn't like Zuko's decision. You really have to think and feel what they are feeling. Zuko is extremely confused and he doesn't know what to do. One person can make a decision really quickly even if it goes against the stuff they have gone through, but it seems Zuko doesn't agree with what he did.

    Personally, the episode was AWESOME!!!

    If I felt like rating it, I would give it a 7. In retrospect, it was one of the best eps. yet. But??I'm bitter for??the??lack of conclusion and??lack of Avatar state. Obviously some people like cliffhangers and could care less if Aang??goes in??the Avatar state.??

    Basically:??Season 1??finale >??Season 2 finale??

    I agree with you about this sly. The finale imo was good but yes, there are flaws here and there. Character development lacks in this finale of course.

    I've been a member since June 2005! Which is why I have a lot of posts. Yeah, I know Katara had some strong moves. I once got up and said this "You go Katara! That's my girl!"

    I haven't paid attention to my posts. Well there was a couple of times when I was in an arguement post (where I posted a lot because of an arguement in the forums). Anyone else remember Pouj-Rui? Anyways, I do agree with the finale going too fast. I kind of felt like it was trying to squeeze the storyline into an hour.
