    It is a masterpiece.

I believe I shall watch a few episodes then.

But no matter how good it is, it won't stop Avatar from being high quality too.

Yes it will. It will make Avatar look like trash.

Wow don't judge until you watch it. If I said Avatar is about some 12 year old wanting to save the world it would sould lame to right?
What if I said Naruto was about a hyperactive kid wearing orange jumpsuit who everyone hates who wanted to be the top ninja to lead his village.
Ok? You just proved my point but ok...
They're both shows that feature unlikely heroes. Even though at first they may sound ridiculous, unlikley heroes are always the most interesting.

Wait we are comparing Death Note to avatar? Ok now this is a SERIOUS WTF moment. I mean Death Note has genius characters, and a genius plot and genius execution. NO story can top it's use of wits and psycological warfare. Specially in the beggining and the end arcs. Pure Genius.
And comparing Death Note to Naruto is a WTF moment too. Death Note is one of the best animes' it pwns Avatar and it pwns Naruto.
For some strange reason, I was never able to get into Death Note. However, I won't deny that it's interesting. My favorites are Naruto, Bleach, and Elfen Lied.
Dude you didn't get into death note? Are you on crack? Come on dude...seriously.....

Probably because you haven't seen real anime..
I don't consider it anime. I've seen incredible anime movies that are just genius though.

    Gotta love Miyazaki.

    Miyazaki > All
*nods* Genius. So... uh... what's Death Note about?
I garantee you'll like it better than Avatar. It's about a guy name Light who finds a notebook that when you write a persons name in it they AUTOMATICALLY die by the way you want. If you don't state how they will die, they'll die of a heart attack. Light starts killing criminals and "Bad" people. And he's trying to avoid being caught by the police, and killing criminals at the same time, his killing name is "Kira". L is the worlds greatest detective and is assigned to capture Kira. Can Light evade L and punish the evil people of the world? Find out.
you put "can Light evade Kira" so i corrected it

Okay, honestly, the Avatar bashing is getting old. I'm sure it's possible to like both Death Note and Avatar, because, as has been said, they're very different and thus have different strengths.

I meant that it makes some random guy who takes it upon himself to judge others.

I said I'm going to watch an episode. And about Avatar, that does sound lame. I actually thought Avatar was going to be lame because I saw an ad of it in Nick Mag when I used to get it three years ago, but I watched an episode of it and liked it.
