    Character development... Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Shikamaru and plenty others. Great fights... pretty much any fight because 90% of the fights are important unlike the hit and run fights in Avatar. Usually at the end of the fight something changes to further the plot. Great plot... isn't as simple as taking down the firelord. So far Naruto has to save Sasuke, destroy Akatsuki, become Hokage, and deal with his demon someday.
