I was just wondering why because its a HUGE favourite. Why do you think it is famous? BTW, if you hadn't noticed, I'm new to this thread.

Well at least your name doesn't take up the whole page. And though its getting there (V-cast commercial) i wouldn't neccessarily call it huge just yet. After all, people seem to be just now be taking notice of it. Which??really sucks since that means they'll have to watch something like??last season's finale as a rerun...??

    Hmm?

Anyways I'm just curious to know why it is so famous. I am from the W.I.T.C.H. thread?? and I'm used to posting on there where numbers of posts are smaller. I mean over 7,000 posts on one thread and 88 pages of topics(granted a lot of them are just redundent ones).

Tell me about em. Still I say that once a network??show??has taken a shot at it, then its qualified as famous. Stuff like that are indicators. Oh I was just referencing the fact that the new guys generally seem to all have really long names. What's up with that?

Your question doesn't make so much sense i mean why is it so famous? ummm because its broad casted on national tv once a week and because its an awesome show. other than that there is no other answer. And if its a question it probably should be on the ask a question get an answer thread.

Why is it famous? Well we can start off that it's on Nick and apparently a "non-Nick"-type show, meaning that it's not a comic looking like show like Spongebob, Rugrats, and Fairly Oddparents, airing on Nick. Most Nick shows are all about fun as this one is more serious (with maybe some craziness involved).

Another would be that the storyline attracts more people. I was hooked on the ninth episode because of what the story was at. It appeals to the expanding targeted audience.

Yo, this person deserves to be snapped at. She just comes over to the forums and demands to know why this show is popular...

she didn't sound very demanding to me...it's just a simple question. no need to be mean (but I suppose this belongs in the question thread)

Avatar is "Famous" because its one of the first "American Made" Anime's that actually have all the good parts of the regular asian made anime's, with more equality in the sexes (meaning that girls dont just sit around looking worried and saying peoples names as the guys fight), the characters are well rounded, and it has many layers of story into it. Its an Epic series that is creative, well rounded, and detailed. Fighting scenes are Choreographed by professional martal artists, so that is always a plus, since it makes the battles nailbiters with humor mixed in (often with Sokka) that are fast pasted, real time, and smooth, no flashing color backgrounds while someone shouts the name of their attack or DBZing it during their battles. Its quick and intense.

Yeah, go dedicated fans! Anyway, SD, I think you were a lil outa line snapping there. I didnt feel the question was bad or offensive. I think because it is popular really interesting, well done, beautiful to look at, and appeals to many ages.

    Glad to have another member.
