Why do you like Avatar?

    That is a fact. But the ratings was BUILD on opinions. Even though that is true that does not mean it is a good show.

    Then your argument is flawed! Get over it! Taste is taste. And, the ratings are fact. Not the tv.com ones though

    Fact: Avatar is consistantly the highest watched primetime cable tv show on friday nights. That's not based on opinion, it's based on how many people tune in to watch it!

    That does not mean it is good! Did you ever think that they could think Avatar is okay? Just because they watch does not mean they think it is good.

    Alot of kis these days watch TV all day because they are BORED! So that does not mean they are enjoying what they are watching!

    Yes, but if they are writing good reviews, that usually mean they enjoy the show.

    Listen, your argument is getting weaker and weaker. Taste is a matter of opinion. You're asking us to, via the internet, change your taste. I like Avatar. I think it's a great show. Most of the people I know here and in my hometown think the same. There are pleanty of shows that are just "good" in my opinion, but they aren't getting nearly the CONSISTANT ratings Avatar does. You can argue that they just tune in occasionally until you're blue in the face, it wont change anything

    Nick made alot of Avatar games to play online,thus making kids search for Avatar on the internt. Which gives them a link to TV.com. That is why Avatar is so high rated here. I dare you to try to find a different website that gives Avatar a rating above 9.3!

    There's no link to Tv.com! Nick isn't allowed to do that! They can't put external links except to their shop. They don't need to. They have their own forum.

    And again, i'm not talking about Tv.com ratings, I'm talking about the ACTUAL tv rating systemn that takes the amount of viewers. Occasional viewers would not give Avatar the top spot on every new episode! That means there is a very strong following of the show, who come back every week.

    What you're saying, is just because kids (around your age) voted on Avatar, that their opinion isn't valid, and therefore the ratings thing is skewed. They as fans of Avatar don't matter because they are young? No, it's popular with all ages. Just because they are young, doesn't mean they don't think the show is great!
