the "You Know Who"(Voldemort ) firebending quality was awesome too

dude YES!! ahaha when i watched that movie the first time i was like "zomg yay avatar!!!!" ^_^ ahaha dumbledore's waterbending definitely reminded me of katara's in the siege of the north when she traps zuzu in that orb of ice ^_^

= here , the first time i watched it i screamed "AVATAR" , some persons got angry

I think the first real firebending in Harry Potter movies was HP4 (unless there was some in the second, that's the only one I haven't seen). That Durmstrang guy had that fire breath thing in their opening performance.

Voldy's was way better though XD oh, and HP3 was full of freezing effects.

yeah harry potter has definitely used some awesome element effects ^_^ but they were freaking amazing in HP5 i cant wait to see what they look like in HP6 ^_^ so we can conclude that the bending will look amazing as long as they use the HP effects ^_^ ahahaha and yes lol Voldy's was awesome as was the dragon that fred and george made ^_^

Unfortunately Avatar lacks (significant) fireworks and/or hot twins. Any earthbending in HP I'm forgetting? Airbending is just kind of, umm, yeah. Creature animation should work out fine, considering the quality of HP and Narnia (again, time and budget ought to balance out) I do wonder how they'll handle sectumsempra, seeing as it was apparently bloody enough to be mistaken for murder. Myrtle's supposedly not going to be in that scene, so I wonder how he's caught. And I don't think we can make R or PG13 guesses for the final until we see sectumsempra.

wasnt the 5th one PG13? and yeah sectumsempra is going to be interesting to see how they pull it off...im thinking maybe show the gashes but like not the blood u know? and they did at least show Luna with a bloody mouth and Neville with a bloody nose in the 5th so maybe they'll be better with the blood or something? ahaha ^_^ still sad that they didnt get to go through the other parts of the department of mysteries T_T it would have been cool 2 see ron get attacked by the brain ^_^ and yeah i dont think there have been any earthbending in HP but im guessing we might see some in Narnia ^_^ and lol yes Avatar needs more fireworks and hot twins ^_^

Zuko needs a long-lost twin. Anyway, I'm pretty sure 3, 4, and 5 were all PG13. 6 will be PG13, but if you've read 7 you probably noticed the possibility of R. Torture, nudity, general death encompassing many more people than ever before, you get the idea. Showing blood hasn't been a big deal ever, they've been showing injuries since the beginning. The problem is that sectumsempra is like a bloodbath, and remember Myrtle thought it was a murder.

Oh, and controversy: Harry is naked in the post-death place, with his robe appearing only just before Dumbledore, now confirmed to be gay comes XD And "small, naked child with raw, flayed skin" counts as a seriously disturbing image I imagine.

Avatar also lacks of hot Slytherins (Draco Malfoy )

If Myrtle is not going to appear in that scene , then maybe Draco will scream and Snape will come to save the day ( well not for Harry >> )

ahaha draco was hot but i dont think he was as hot in the 5th movie hes just getting 2 old to be playing 16....ahaha ^_^ and yeah i was thinking like maybe snape just walks by and hears malfoy crying like a little baby and screaming for his mommy.... ahaah no jk i actually really like draco's character in the 7th book i just wish hermione had punched him in the nose harder in the 3rd now....

No, they're going to go all out. It's all going to be real. Earthbending will be done by rocks on ropes.

Some things just have to be animated. Or CGI'd. Appa, Momo. Bending. If it is done in the way Silent Hill was done, I'd think of it as done well myself.

Heheh. I got the first book for my 11th birthday, I don't think anyone realized what torture that was >_>

Yeah, I guess the blood was more actively bleeding. We've got David Yates directing again I think, so if that was his decision we'll probably see some serious Draco PAIN And for once someone ACTUALLY looks almost EXACTLY like I thought in the book. Or at least the actor does, I dunno how he'll look in costume. I'm talking abotu Slughorn.

dude YES!! ahaha when i watched that movie the first time i was like "zomg yay avatar!!!!" ^_^ ahaha dumbledore's waterbending definitely reminded me of katara's in the siege of the north when she traps zuzu in that orb of ice ^_^

Heh yeah any of you guys see HP5 in 3-D? It was way better in 3-D. See what happened was I had already seen the movie at a regular theater, but I was on vacation sometime after that with a place that had it in 3-D and it was raining so I saw it again. Anyway off-topicness aside I am really dreading how Appa's gonna look. It's gonna br hard not to mess Appa up.

I don't think M.Night will let things like Appa be bad. Especially with Bryke there. It gives me hope they won't mess it up.

If it doesn't have at least HP5-Dumbledore-waterbending quality I will consider it a failure. The time difference should make up for the budget difference... right?

the "You Know Who"(Voldemort ) firebending quality was awesome too

dude YES!! ahaha when i watched that movie the first time i was like "zomg yay avatar!!!!" ^_^ ahaha dumbledore's waterbending definitely reminded me of katara's in the siege of the north when she traps zuzu in that orb of ice ^_^

Heh yeah any of you guys see HP5 in 3-D? It was way better in 3-D. See what happened was I had already seen the movie at a regular theater, but I was on vacation sometime after that with a place that had it in 3-D and it was raining so I saw it again. Omg, if Appa and Momo look like clay puppets I will throw something at the movie screen.

Wow, two threads I've been on today that have long HP conversations on them! Has there been a memo I missed about the new Avatar/HP forum?
