If it doesn't have at least HP5-Dumbledore-waterbending quality I will consider it a failure. The time difference should make up for the budget difference... right?

Normally I'd be as sarcastic as the rest of you, but I think he's referring to the CGI that will be used for bending. I'd just like to say....

No. CGI technology is constantly upgrading and enhancing to new levels of realism and who knows how powerful it will be by the time the CGI effects are added in the movie in 2009.

I think the first real firebending in Harry Potter movies was HP4 (unless there was some in the second, that's the only one I haven't seen). That Durmstrang guy had that fire breath thing in their opening performance.

Voldy's was way better though XD oh, and HP3 was full of freezing effects.

yeah harry potter has definitely used some awesome element effects ^_^ but they were freaking amazing in HP5 i cant wait to see what they look like in HP6 ^_^ so we can conclude that the bending will look amazing as long as they use the HP effects ^_^ ahahaha and yes lol Voldy's was awesome as was the dragon that fred and george made ^_^

Unfortunately Avatar lacks (significant) fireworks and/or hot twins. Any earthbending in HP I'm forgetting? Airbending is just kind of, umm, yeah. Creature animation should work out fine, considering the quality of HP and Narnia (again, time and budget ought to balance out) I do wonder how they'll handle sectumsempra, seeing as it was apparently bloody enough to be mistaken for murder. Myrtle's supposedly not going to be in that scene, so I wonder how he's caught. And I don't think we can make R or PG13 guesses for the final until we see sectumsempra.

wasnt the 5th one PG13? and yeah sectumsempra is going to be interesting to see how they pull it off...im thinking maybe show the gashes but like not the blood u know? and they did at least show Luna with a bloody mouth and Neville with a bloody nose in the 5th so maybe they'll be better with the blood or something? ahaha ^_^ still sad that they didnt get to go through the other parts of the department of mysteries T_T it would have been cool 2 see ron get attacked by the brain ^_^ and yeah i dont think there have been any earthbending in HP but im guessing we might see some in Narnia ^_^ and lol yes Avatar needs more fireworks and hot twins ^_^

Avatar also lacks of hot Slytherins (Draco Malfoy )

If Myrtle is not going to appear in that scene , then maybe Draco will scream and Snape will come to save the day ( well not for Harry >> )
