Many people??believe that one of the Zuko's fate is to face his own father at some point in the series, where he is going to try straitghten things??out probably by fighting??him, "since Fire Lord?? is not the forgiving type and is not going to have a cup of tea with his son and talk about??life ....but, wouldn't that be the Avatar's final destiny itself? If Zuko faces the Fire Lord in a battle, what is Aang??going to fight for at he end? How is Zuko going to solve his Dad/Son problem without stealing the most brilliant fight from Aang? What do you think?

Maybe it'll be a joint attack (or even a whole group activity) but Aang delivers the final blow to Ozai or something. I think that Zuko should fight Azula first, though.

My theory is that Aang will fight the fire lord to an inch of death. After the comet passes and the fire lord was unable to harness it, everyone in the Gaang will land a punch, and Zuko will deliver the killing blow.

A buddy of mine thinks that too.?? It is a great possibility but I think it would definitely be in the end if it were to happen.

none of them they will be death before they reach him

but siriously if it wasn't for the??solar eclipse??i would say both will attack him side by side but with zuko's firebeding gone (or seriously weakend) he won't be able to stand??against his own father except with his swords (i think ozai will use blades 2 or found a way still to firebend at the solar eclipse)

I think the solar eclipse won't affect the royal family, neither Aang, it just gonna affect the army, I mean, maybe Zuko's family have that divine right to rule becose they remained powerfull without sun, and that's something you carry in your blood. Remember Aunt Wu said 2 Aang, "you will figth in a huge battle..." she didn't say something about you'll save the world, I think he'll fight Ozai until Zuko's arrival, and he'll defeat his own father, because I think he's destined to do that, and, since Ozai knew it all the time, hates him.

I think Zuko will fight azula. If he does fight?? his dad it will be very long because i think Aang will got in and then when?? the fire lord trys to do a?? attack behind his back Zuko will take the blow for aang. Zuko will exchange a few words and then he will either pass out or die( i luv Zuko by the way)

in my opinion Zuzu must defeat his father in a agnikai proving that he is a better firelord and giving ozai a scar to match his.He will prove that years ago in the fire war room he was right. And then as the new firelord he will make pace with the world just like Iroh probably would.

i also think that if he joins the gaang they should go to the Guru.Only Iroh,Bumi, Sokka, Aang(he already was)??and maybe Jeong-Jeong do not need to go to the Guru to learn to keep their calm.

A calm Zuzu able to redirect and create lightning will probably beat angry Ozai. But he will not eliminate him just like he did with Zhao.

But where dose Aang fit in???

*semi-spoilers* It was already confirmed by Nick (vice president or something, I forget) that only Aang, Sokka, and Katara would be facing the fire lord and that Aang would complete his destiny. *opinion* So, I'm guessing while Aang, Sokka, and Katara (no Toph?!) are kicking Ozai's ass, Zuko will take on Azula and either die or kill her. It actually makes more sense that he kills her or whatever rather than Ozai, becuase Aang needs to do that, and someone else needs to put Azula in her place coughcough Zuko coughcough...

I think Aang will fight him but he will get badly hurt and when Ozi is about to deliver the final blow to kill Aang Zuko will jump in and kill Ozi.

Are you sure about that? What I saw said "Aang, Katara, and Sokka will face the firelord in the third season," it didn't give any indication that it would be just them. It was a generally stated fact about next season.

Neither. They will do something a little less obvious and Iroh will fight Ozai.

Now that would be worth while to watch.

This discussion is interesting, even though Aang is the main character and its his "destiny" to stop Ozai...Zuko is really the character they've been building up to have the more interesting conflict with Ozai..

Whats Ozai done to Aang.... well his Grandfather ordered the execution of a his home while Aang was taking a nap....thats just not on par with Zuko who'd been scared, disowned, sent on an impossiable quest then made into a fugitive now his uncle's life is in jeprady...

what ever they pull it will be shocking (like Zuko's choice in the last episode)

still what I think will most likely happen is a 2 on 2 showdown Azula and Ozai versus Aang and Zuko

I'm glad you agree. Everyday I come here the more I think Aang won't fight Ozai at all. It's as predictable as it gets (not that I wouldn't want to see it, in fact I would record that fight I watch it everytime I get out of the shower lol) Main hero Vs. Main Villain. They would dare do something that EVERYONE would see coming b/c we all know how unpredictable Avatar is.

Anyway, seeing Iroh Vs. Ozai would be an amazing fight. Not only would we get to see what the two oldest members of The FN's Royal Family could do, but it would definitely give us an insight on their past together. We all know that this fight could not go on without at least one flashback with Iroh and Ozai.

Azula doesn't even deserve to be in that fight. Anyway, you're starting to make Zuko Vs. Ozai sound even more obvious than Anng Vs The Fire Lord. Trust me, the obvious is not going to happen.

Down with Azula, that rat! That is why alot of people didn't like the season finale, because it was different. I say shock me.

Yeah, I want to see Bosco or someTHING knock her out for good. She's not worthy of fighting with three legends.

both team up and aang delivers the final blow. zuko might have some indescision like the crossroads of destiny, but he'll make the right choice.
