I don't think Aang EVER actually accepted that ALL of the Air Nomads were wiped out. You don't just accept something like that and move on (your entire race being ruthlessly killed, and taken by surprise by a nation you thought to be kind... Because of you) with your life. While Aang usually always puts on a happy face, he will never really get over that and move on, and he SHOUDN'T either... But, I can agree to some level with what Isabel is saying.

I don't actually agree with what I'm saying, I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing
What you do not realise, though, is that you are actually making a lot of sense.

Oh, I know, rofl. Excuse my ego It may make sense, but my personal beliefs have to interfere at some point. At the end of this, you have to choose which is worse. Guilt or absence of love. THAT I cannot argue. However, I can bring up some points that haven't been touched upon.

Well I have to say Zuko learning all that happened to him when he was younger, but I also think Katara and Sokka have one, but Zuko.

Zuko. I mean come on, he got banished and scarred by his father, his sister bullied him, and his mom disappeared. That is very crappy.

I'd say Aang. Aang is the one with all of the pressure on him, and the fire Nation killed his people. They destroyed his air temple and killed Monk Giatzo. Him and Appa were all alone for a long time, until they both were trapped in the ice for 100 years. Katara and Sokka at least had their water tribe and each other, but Aang didn't have anybody. Toph had those moles, and Zuko had his uncle who could at least talk and give him helpful advice. But I'd say that Aang had the hardest life before he met Katara and Sokka.

    Number four made me chuckle.

MarryLarry presents a solid case that I agree with. When I saw the title of this thread, I instantly thought to myself: They equally had a difficult past.

I think they have all suffered a lot, but I would still make it a toss up between Aang and Zuko.

I think Aang being frozen for 100 years and losing everyone he knew and cared about is the worst. Plus living with the guilt of knowing you were 'hiding' when your tribe and the world needed you, and you weren't there would be tough too.

I would have put Toph as the worst, because being blind would be horrible. But, she was pretty much royalty, with lots of care and support (too much) and after a while she learnt to 'see' with Earthbending, so Aang wins.

    Momo.

It's the only possible explanation for why he is so twisted and evil.

i would say iroh...he went through some pretty rough times.=, and like zuko, he found his own destiny. he was also considered a failure, he lost his only son, he didnt inherit his rightful place on the throne, and his wife probably died. pretty sucky if you ask me. But zuko and aang also had it pretty bad
