which will happen (zutara or kataraang?)

    I think it's time to bring back the forbidden "D" from the infamous Hermione/Harry Ron/Hermione ship wars for a certain ship. ::snickers::

    If Kataraang happens, I wouldn't be surprised in the least. If Zutara happens...I'd literally burst out laughing for five minutes since the former ship seems so much more obvious. I mean the avile sized hints and all.

    And before we bring up the entire "Aang obviously likes Katara but we haven't seen Katara return the feelings yet", a few things:

    -With the exception of the one part in the finale where Katara touched Zuko's face, there is no true evidence to support the ship. It's all grasping at straws and assumption. Just because we've seen characters under similar circumstances get together in other media's doesn't mean it'll happen here. As pointed out, there has been far more concrete evidence for Kataraang and Zumai (or however that ship goes) than this ship.

    -Aang is too young = laughs. Like that's kept much people from falling in love or getting married. Even so, it doesn't mean Katara is just going to run to Zuko. There's still that sweet earth bending guy that liked Katara. (I completely forgot his name.)

    -You know, this reminds me again of Harry Potter, where it was so obvious Ron Weasley liked Hermione but people out right argued that Hermione never returned the feelings or it least it wasn't shown (until book 6 and 7). Huh. Go figure.

    Meh, I don't know who's going to end up with who and honestly, I could care less. (Hey, Ozar is kinda young and hot, don't you think? And Azula should wear her hair down more often...Random moment, sorry.) I doubt it will be Zutara though.

    Man, with the dance of the headband, it seem pretty clear to me, Katara was all red, even more that in the cave of two lovers, she was shy 2 times !!! But, counter-part, another girl have a crush on aang. Zuko was a real dum*p in the jail, what is wrong with him, he needs advice, i'll give him one... Making his uncle crying, how dare him !?! And he wants the avatar so much that he's hiring that mercenary, that monster more mechanic that human, we dont even know if he can understand anything !

    I'm thinking in a way how zuko could possibly repear his mistake, but i dont know, ... still confusing

    aang doesnt need to be in the avatar state at all, I just need to use the four elements, and so He can still be in love with Katara, but in the case of the avatar state, he must left Katara to be into it (its a rule)

    I'd argue your points, but they've all been addressed already for the most part.

    I can sum up I guess: Concrete evidence doesn't exist in a TV show. The writers can do whatever they want to.

    There have been hints at Zutara such as her hand on his face and the glance backwards. Hints are powerful, but even they aren't needed for a ship to sail. Ships are personal preference.

    We all agree Kataang is more likely. That doesn't make it the best option. Again, personal preference.

    I continue to hear people argue that it is completely normal for a 12 year old boy and a 14 year old girl to date. No there is nothing wrong with it. Yes, it is out of the ordinary in the extreme. Show me all these freshman girls who date 7th graders...no, they date juniors and seniors so they can go to the prom LOL. am I pushing modern american culture on Avatar? Yes. Is it still relevant? Yes.

    Well said. I like "rawr" too and I'm not feelin' it with Kataang! There's cuteness between Aang and Katara but I definitely get the sisterly vibe from her towards him. I also see some of Xander/Buffy in their relationship as well - for anyone who is familiar with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    Anyway, the writers seem determined to torture my poor Zutara-loving soul. I will resolve to enjoy my favorite ship in fanon if I have to, and I won't have to fight my Daughter for control of the TV anymore on Friday evenings if she wants to watch Meerkat Manor instead.

    I agree that Kataang is more likely. It isn't my preferred ship, but then I wouldn't ship Aang right now with anyone because he's still a boy.

    I'm glad somebody brought up Harry Potter, actually. There were many pairings from the obvious (Ron/Hermione) to the not obvious (Snape/Lily) in that series. I shipped Snape/Lily (well, believed there was something between them) long before it became canon, and some fans were called us "delusional". Why? there was nothing OVERT in canon to support it. It was about what was left out thatwas really the clue: the fact that no matter how much Snape hated Harry's father, Sirius, and Lupin he never said anything bad about Lily and she was there the same time they were.

    Anyway, I agree the writers are likely to go with the obvious as far as the ships go, but maybe they'll surprise us.

    just one thing, kataang isn't more likely, it's more predictable. probability doesn't apply here.

    edit: and i don't mean predictable in a negative sense. it was a ship-neutral statement.

    But, what if Zuko or Katara doesnt love each other? Zuko donsnt look like some1 attract by her, and Katara neither ? Its not even like Aang and Katara. I've doubt about Zuko love interest in Katara.

    we have never seen zuko truly connect with most girls..jin he was still battling himself.....mai he's emotionally unstable he still needs guidance....

    we don't really know how zuko and katara would react to each other not really anyway....crossroads of destiny hmmmm...questionable but hay....., who's to know until then ZUTARA all the way baby

    yep why shouldn't she understand zuko if you look at them their quite similar, both lost their mothers...father wasn't around.....aang also could relate to zuko but that wasn't the answer you were looking for was it
