Which season was your favorite, and why?

I think the second season was definitely better. The first season had too many filler episodes, such as Imprisoned, The Great Divide, Maybe even Jet. This season was action packed. And, it didn't end happily. Moral: The Good Guys don't always win.

Season 2...lot more action and character development.

season 2, no doubt

The two seasons just seemed so different though. They had their own "feeling" to them. The first one was more little-kid oriented, but in the second one, they had more information, so the little kids will stop watching, and more older kids will start watching, and they can make it more violent. At least that's what I'm guessing.

Season two was way better, there was more action, character development and it made you think more.

i loved season 1 but season 2 was so dark and the characters were so better developed. also in season 2 there weren't too many fillersodes

i loved season two.season one was also good but have episodes like imprisoned,the waterbending scroll,the great divide,jet etc.that wasn't very?? goods.Season two was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Season 1 was really good and I loved it, but Season 2 was way better. In Season 2 there was more character development, cliffhangers, plot twists, two TV movies, and some characters returned like Suki, Jet, and Bato. We also got to see Hakoda.

well lets see last season was more about action and the story wasn't really developed yet, season two the story really took off and there was alot of emotion put into it and more emphasis was on the plot and character dimension, especially in the season finale..no explanations needed there overall I really liked season 2 betteer! also because I wasn't?? really a huge fan until about a quarter to halfway through season 2 now my emotions area all in it which makes it like 20 times more intruiging

No comparison. Season 1 had its strong points, TBS, TD, BotWT, SotN, AR, TS, etc. It had characters like Jeong Jeong, Jun, Bato, Jet, the Calm Man (from TFT), Pakku, etc.

But it did not have the awesome-ness of season 2. I do prefer some s1 episodes over s2 episodes (like Roku over The Chase) but for the most part season 2 rocked way harder.

Lake Laogai, The Swamp, The Blind Bandit, Return to Omashu, Bitter Work, The Crossroads of Destiny, The Chase, The Library, The Drill, The Serpent's Pass, The Desert, The Guru, Appa's Lost Days, The Earth King, City of Walls and Secrets, Zuko Alone, The Avatar State ALL EXCELLENT EPISODES! Avatar Day, The Tales of Ba Sing Se, and The Cave of Two Lovers were all good and funny, but still not terrible.

Returns (and passing away of) Jet and Suki, the introduction of Azula, Ty Lee and Mai, Long Feng and the Dai Li, Ba Sing Se, Appa going missing, the solar eclipse news, it all makes season 2 so much better than season 1. And it looks like everyone agrees with me.

This is pretty hard, but I'll go with Season 2. I felt the action was a lot better and the character development just never stopped, even in the final seconds of the finale. And now that I think of it the second season had to be better, because it had Toph!

Season 2. So many things happen and we got to see so many new characters. I think I like the first Season Finale better. I still haven't decided though.
