Season 2 because although I liked the action in them almost equally (Season 1 a little better), I think Season 2's plotline and message was much better.

1st season. The new one was...more focused on Zuko's development. Overall, this advertisment was all bark, no bite. But I guess it could get an okay.

I cant make up my mind because the season one finalle was victorius, and had a good feeling at the end. The second had deafeat written all over it, and I had a depressed but good feeling at the end. Kinda hard to explain.

I voted for Season 2. Reason? Just like the others, the choreography of the fights were awesome! My main reason for voting Season 2 though is because they showed Zuko's past, and Zuko's character development.

season 2 because it ended so EPICally, whereas Aang just went godzilla on everybody (which was cool too), but the bending was just taken to a whole new plateau in season 2, and i am an action buff, so that did it for me. plus, everyone was completely blindsided by TWO things (and ppl are still um "complaning" to put it nicely, about them) and they were:

    - zuko siding with azula
    - aang getting defeated in the avatar state

i was actually pleasantly surprised that the finale ended on such "bad notes" as it really creates problems to be solved in season 3. yay

Season 2. Insane plot twists, fluid action sequences, and a fair amount of focus on Zuko. And it was a cliffhanger. Third season's going to ROCK!

Season 1 finale was like the LoTR kind of thing, with a major invasion going and stuff. But the season 2 finale was WAY more dramatic (Aang almost dying, Zuko's betrayal, etc.), better storyline, and of course, the cliffhanger. D@MN ALL CLIFFHANGERS OF THE SHOW!!

I voted for season 2 by the way...

Yeah I like the part where he did a Godzilla to everyone, probably because I am a Godzilla fan. But I still liked season 2 finale better, it was more dramatic

Season 1 because Katara WRECKED Season 2's Finale. Let's see, she stopped Sokka from going to war, made us miss out on seeing Hokado whoop some FN, stopped Aang from mastering his Avatar State which EVERYONE was looking forward to and that was the main reason to watch the finale, took screen time away from Sokka and Toph (ESPECIALLY Sokka) so they didn't get to have enough fights and her forced and PATHETIC??scene between her and Zuko made all of this possible. I still liked it but Katara killed so much great potential with her dumb cliched damsel in distress scene and her sappy part with Zuko.

Season 1 definatly. I'm a Huge fan of siege warfare (don't call me a geek) Ive aleays liked games like age of empire, and rome total war. This gave that feeling to it that the war was more than random camps of small groups of fire benders which is all we had seen at that point. (expept for in the Blue spirt when you go to the prison)

season 2 hands down a lot more suspense and the fact that Zuko turned on Iroh. Also Aang dying as soon as he masters the Avatar State, Toph bending metal, Sokka meeting his dad, Katara.... oh yeah about to heal Zuko's scar, actually heals Aan, yah lots of stuff in the finale of season 2

Despite the fact that I was very worried that they were going to have a cliffhanger in season 2, I did not see one, and can someone point it out to me so I can scream in horror that the shows creators screwed us?

i think i like the season 2 finale much better than the first. the emotional level was so much more higher w/ zuko betraying iroh, aang trying to master the avatar state and then ending w/ katara healing him and all. Plus the fighting scenes were so much more cooler and toph bending metal and all. AND it left you on a cliffhanger
