Technically, I watched it when it first came out but at that time, it was 'just another show' to me. But when I decided to get back in, it was:

    "The Avatar and the Firelord".

Really? That late? But I was the same. I thought Avatar was a stupid show an Nick trying to be cool with an "anime." I only got into it mid-first-season. After the season finale, I'd realized I'd missed about 4 episodes!

Mine was the red spirit (is that what it's called?) The one where Sokka and Katara are sick.

    Blue Spirit.

Mine was the Great Divide. Oh, how disgusted by Avatar I was then! I fell in love with it after I forced myself to watch Boy in the Iceberg. From then on, I was hooked.

Avatar first came out when I was around 11 or 12 ( I don't quite remember but it was around that age) but I didn't have the mental capacity if you will to really appreciate it for what it truly was. So, I never actually got involved with it. It was a matter of someone in a chat room telling me that a new Avatar episode was on Nick and me having an, erm, 'realization'. ;p It all came back to me (what I knew ;p) and I was hooked with the barb deeply ingrained. :]

I saw "The Avatar Returns" around the time it first came out. I watched Avatar on and off, but I really got into it after "The Serpent's Pass". That was the first episode I saw with Toph in it. " Thanks for saving my life Toph. Hey, no problem Sokka." pretty much clinched it.

I've been a loyal supporter all the way; I was hooked before it even aired in Australia. The commercials got me into it!! The line that got me hooked:
    ZUKO: You're just a child!
AANG: ...well you're just a teenager...

I found that hilariously funny, and then I watched the episode as soon as it was on. Yup, fan all the way.

The Warriors of Kyoshi. That's the earliest one I can remember seeing. Then I remember Nick playing "The Waterbending Scroll" like everyday for a week. It was annoying, because I wanted to see some of the other episodes!! ... It would still take me another year before I became addicted.

Boy in the Iceberg. Me and my friend thought it'd be just another one of Nick's pieces of crap, but then we said, "you know, this is actually half-decent."
And thus, I know am going to rehab for AWS every Thursday.
By the way, raven, congrats on 2000 subscribers! Are you making a video for it!
Damn, I'm still only at a whopping 173. Must win more contests.
