For me, it was the waterbending scroll. When I first saw it, I have never seen a show that was so funny and action packed for the longest time.

I don't quite remember, but I think the first episode I saw was the last half of "Imprisoned" from Season 1. My sister introduced me to Avatar when Nick was doing the marathon Thanksgiving weekend. Since then I have spread the Avatar addiction to my husband's whole family...parents included!! My 4-year-old nephew was Aang for Halloween and shaved his head BALD. Way fun!

The first episode I saw was the Boy in the Iceberg, but the first episode that got me completely and utterly hooked was Crossroads of Destiny. I really hadn't seen much of season 2 except for the finale, but then I went back and wathced every episode all over again and was hooked.

saw the premiere. I'd catch it here and there, didn't get hooked until I saw the blind bandit one day. after that went back and bought all the episodes I missed. hell stayed up till 5am watching them, all the way up to the desert. I later learned the show was on break. heart-broken, I cried myself until the serpent's pass aired.

I think the first one I ever watched was "Jet". My younger brothers were hooked on the show and would whine and complain for ages if they missed any "Avatar" (for some reason, I thought it was some sci-fi type thing. Don't ask why, lol).

Then one day I was reading a book in the lounge room while they were watching, and so I watched it too. Slowly started to like it.

Funny thing is, now I'm even more obsessed than the two of them combined. Suppose its because I have more access to internet/spoilers/speculation

    Avatar FTW! *waves Avatar flag*

Shoo, the first time I heard of Avatar was those OLD trailers of it, back when they were showing previews of Avatar, I was hooked and couldn't wait for the show to start.

The first episode I saw was the Crossroads of Destiny, my brothers had been watching the series from the beginning but I wasn't really into it and eventually I gave in and decided to give it a try, immediately I liked the show cause I saw that annoying kid(Aang{I didn't know who he was at the tim}) get striked down!! And I fell in love with Azula and Iroh!!!

The first episode that I saw and got me hooked was "the chase" - "bitter work" combo. It was love at first sight with Toph and Azula. I know I saw a little avatar before that, but I don't remember which ones. Eventually I saw the recap and got up to date with the show.

The Boy In The Iceberg, on it's premier. I've been watching from the beginning, although I didn't intend to. I was watching something that was airing right before it. I had seen commercials for it for months and thought that it would be stupid. When it first started I thought that I'd watch a few minutes of it just to poke fun at it before turning the channel. Instead I became instantly hooked and watched the new episodes every week, as well as any repeats. Been watching ever since.
