What gives with Nickelodeon? Avatar is supposed to be on FIVE days a week now?

    Yesterday, Tuesday October 3rd, Avatar was replaced with the much less desirable show??Mr. Meaty on Nickelodeon in the promised and advertised Avatar daily timeslot of 6:30/5:30c. This is??REALLY disappointing. Some kids and well, adults too, have been watching the new programming time everyday since it started September 25th. It really bites that Nickelodeon would seemingly capitalize on Avatar's high viewing audience to try to??push other shows into stardom. Additionally Danny Phantom is slated to air in Avatar's timeslot on Monday, October 9th as well.

    TO NICKELODEON: Leave Avatar alone! If you want to feature other shows during the same timeslot, say so. Don't mislead the Avatar viewing audience and lure them in with FIVE days a week Avatar only to play a bait and switch programming headgame with them instead.

    I can say in our house you are not earning any Mr. Meaty fans any time soon because of the way you advertise Avatar and then slip in another show instead.

    Respect the fame and notoriety Avatar has earned rightfully through hard work, a brilliant storyline and animation excellence.??Avatar has a HUGE following and you know this. How many other shows on Nickelodeon have numerous fan sites of people of EVERY age group??independent of you and your own site? That alone says volumes. Why on earth would you jeopardize that devotion through promising??Avatar five days a week??and then fail to deliver it?

    If you have changed your programming choices for the 6:30/5:30c daily timeslot so be it. Announce it and stick to whatever you decide, but stop jerking the Avatar viewing audience around!

    I saw that on the Nick schedule over the weekend.

    What up with you nick?I loved all your shows and now the only thing I wacht it Avatar.Its like they hate Avatar.I head they were trying to get rid of it.Like it will never happen.

    Mr. Meaty is about the most immature show ever.. and the "puppet" characters just make it worse. Nick should get it in their heads that Avatar is way more popular and deserves more air time.
