I think the good thing about Avatar, if you compare with other cartoons (for example, Naruto and Bleach) I like the character's voice and fighting moves.

What do you think that does Avatar so good, if you compare with Naruto and Bleach?

    well

    1. I have never watched either of the shows of which you speak of, and I don't plan to anytime soon.

    2. Even if I had seen them, I would not compare it with them at all, since from what I hear, Naruto is all fights and little plot. And bleach is a cleaner I use in my bathroom. just kidding...

    3. If I was forced to compare at all I would say Avatar has better fights in a smaller amount of time, rather than a long-drawn-out fight that lasts 5 episodes. Plus Avatar has a more intresting plot line with more variety of character development. And I know nothing about Bleach, so I would be wrong to compare them.

    • Funny, and not stupid spongebob funny
    • An actual plot with character development
    • A mix of all genres (romance, comedy, action etc)
    • Its powers and nationalim that sorta divide the people...and the best part is, thats the ONLY thing dividing the people...no religion, not much sexism, no racism etc
    • In general it has a very well thought out story...4 nations, 4 elements, and a person that is reborn over and over again that can control all the elements

and i can go on and on...but avatar is just simply amazing

I like Avatar a lot, but if you ask me Bleach and Naruto are better. Mostly because as soon as season 3, its been going down-hill. If you don't include the filler episodes, then Bleach and Naruto have a really good plot, plus they demonstrate a lot of genres too. And they have great character devlopment especially Bleach.

    So thats my opinion.

Not to mention, Naruto's long fight scenes are normally slow-paced.

But you have to count the fillers, it's part of the show, that's like saying let's not count the faults only the good stuff. And what don't you like about season 3.

When it comes to anime you never count filler, fillers are just put to stall time untill the manga makes for chapters, they pretty muvh don't exist because they aren't made by the original creators like Kubo(Bleach's author) and Kishimoto(Naruto's aurthor).

Season 3 is a little childish if you ask me.

THERE'S AN ACTUAL REASON I'M WATCHING IT.

there's point to the show. that's what got me into it. i wanna see what happens. it's like a really long 3 year movie. i like sitcom's like the fresh prince and stuff but that's cuz it's hilarious, but other show aren't funny at all(hannah montanah) which is why i don't like them. why would i want to waste my life watching that. i like stuff where there's suspence left at the end of the episode, that can be funny too. also has romance and drama, and maybe action too. which basically describes avatar. also relaity shows too. college hill, baldwin hills, flavor of love, i love new york, i wanna see what happens next.

Yes I know that, but the other seasons where still a little more mature than this one, espically season 2(the best season so far)

I still like the show though, but there are some shows I just think are better.

True there are better shows, personally season 3 felt a bit different but I thought it was fine.

bottom line, when compared with most teenage anime, Avatar is much more childish, especially season 1. But that doesn't make it a worse show. Sometimes, something slightly lighter than the graphic violence in anime is what im in the mood for at the moment. Bleach also has more character development, I think, but also has time for that with three times as many episodes. What does it matter, if I'm a fan of both? Avatar is the absolute best American animated show I've seen. Why would I have to decide between them?
