What do the characters think of Azula?

    Azula does want romance. Her only problem is that she is utterly clueless as to what romance encompasses for most people.

    I think that Azula would be very happy indeed to learn that she has a group of obsessive fans who are more than willing to defend and stand up for her at any given opportunity. Or mabye she would just take us as granted But I think she would be pleased to know us

    Well, I wouldn't know about romance. But I'm sure she wants companionship, somebody who truly enjoys the company of her aside from just being with her out of fear.

    Aww thank you for remembering me. ^_^ Yes. I do love Azula.

    And like Axrendale said, I think she would adore having a fan club, that actually likes her b'cuz of her. Unlike in the FN, where she's obviously adored b'cuz she's merely the princess. That's why in The Beach, she wanted to be "normal" to see how people would react to her if they didn't know who she was.

    I think Azula does want/need love. Romanitc-wise and non-romantic-wise. She told Ty Lee she loved being adored, and surely she would want to be loved since (no offense) the people who were suppose to love her didn't.

    Ahaha, to an extent is right. I'm not NEARLY as dedicated as you, but she is, by far, my favourite character.

    Did you see how she let down her facade to ask Ty Lee for boy help? Azula has never admitted weakness before. That was a major thing for her. She only did it because she wanted to be admired so much.

    Just look at her face. She completely let down her guard to be loved. I think she craves it more than even she realizes.

    As I said before, Azula's problem is not that she wouldn't like to have someone in her love life, but rather that she really has no idea how to go about finding someone to connect with. A large part of her problem (IMO) is that she naturally assumes that everybody thinks and feels the way she does, when in reality the opposite is true for Azula, dominating the world is about as fun (and potentially romantic) as it gets. Still, it's the thought that counts
