    Obviously, she's not familiar at all with American audiences since she's of Filipino descent, but i think she might be able to do justice to the role.

    Seeing as to how we now have news about an official live action movie by M. Night I felt compelled to resurrect this thread.?? You can all kill me later.?? However I did it because there are many that have been wondering about the actors for the movie.?? So here are the suggestions and now predicitions that the fans have said.?? Let the war begin.?? Lol.

    Holy crap, if Zhao isn't in this...that would just be wrong. It should take place before the series IMO. Maybe the first could be the initial attack and Sozin's comet coming 100 years ago and the next 5 years after it. The second could span the next 95 years until Aang returned. The third could have something to do with the series. Zhao would have to be in the last two, but Hugh Jackman would be a great Zhao IMO. This is very exciting news..I can't believe some people are actually down about this...

    LoL so true. But if Zhao's in this, Azula and her angels might not be; and I want them in this too. ^__^ I'd be great to have the secondary characters as well like Suki or Jet or even the cabbage man!

    A lot of us liked the idea of Dakota playing Toph, though some strongly disagreed. I won't mantion any names, because to be honest, I can't remember any of them.

    I agree with Dante Basco - Zuko.?? He has the right voice. (He's Zuko's VA), and it would work.?? Otherwise....I just hope they don't screw it up.

    Ok ok, I agree with some of the actors. But for someone for Katara, I found perfect! She looks exactly like her to me! Age wise, beauty, everything! This girl would be PERFECT as Katara, if they actually have a movie based on Avatar. But to tell you the truth, I really don't want them to. I mean, like someone said before, Avatar has a plot. If they just shoot some random part or make up thier own ideas, that could really ruin the t.v. series. Well, anyways, I just think this girl is PERFECT for Katara!

    you know who could play zuko??? shane west (a walk to remember, the guy that falls in love with the dying leukimia girl) ... he's hot, and serious, and is good at action roles (the leage of extrodinary men)

    I can see Dante Basco as Zuko just becuase he does the voice and he does kind of resemble Zuzu... Or maybe a less smiley Ricky Ullman

    I dissagree with Dakota Fanning as Toph. She's too pale and frail looking to pull off a role that is centered so much on physiscal strength. The same applies for many of the actors put for Katara and Sokka: too caucasian looking.

    yeh def miranda cosgrove... i agree, dakota fanning would not do a good job of acting as toph
