    Is Avatar an anime? I'm don't come here at all and if there's a thread on this well hurry up and answer b4 it's locked!

    I dont know...beacause on fanfiction.net, avatar is under the category anime/manga...which i hate since i rellay dislike anime..

    Avatar doesn't have a manga. An anime is a comic (manga) that is made into an animation. At least that's the definition I'm going with. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not really sure.

    I dunno about the comic thing, b/c when I was on target.com?? they said it was a cine-manga....

    Cine-Manga is different. It's actually a comic/manga book that's a page version of episodes. Their in color and there's word bubbles for what's being said. So, it's fancy screencaps in a book pretty much.

    They also have one for Kim Possible, and a few others ... hope that helped some.

    Avatar is most likely anime. I've always though anime as fancy, well done, cartoons, and Avatar certainly looks fancy and more realistic than a cartoon. So I would say that Avatar is anime.

    Fanfiction.net puts many things where there not supposed to be.?? Anime??are Japanese cartoons many of which were first published in book form.?? Fanfiction.net also does the same thing with Code Lyoko a french show.
