Personally, I am very curious as to what the creators will be saying about the future of Avatar. During San Diego Comic Con 2007, they had stated that they wanted to go past season 3, and that they are not done with the universe of the Avatar. The link to the Comic Con 2007 is here. Comic Con 2008 will be having the Avatar panel shown on July 25 from 7:30-9:15. More information on this year's Comic Con and Avatar, is here . I'm definitely looking forward to hearing from the people who are going to be going to this year's Comic Con for Avatar. Do any of you know a way to watch or get news of the events of the Avatar panel at the Comic Con, other than going there?

I'd really like to hear your thoughts and what you believe will be discussed and revealed by the creators. We Avatards need our info and I'm hoping this Comic Con will provide us with some answers.

(Sorry if one of these were already made, I didn't find one so I decided to make one of my own )

Someone better press them on the show.

I hope the show does not end up as web episodes on Nick.com.

I'm sure one, if not many, Avatards will be pressing many very important questions about the future of the show. And if Nick makes Avatar a web series... it would be simply degrading to the series... Avatar deserves to be on T.V.

The series so noteworthy and original

YAY! Maybe they'll announce the future of Avatar. Hopefully they'll make the new season sooner rather than later.

Season one's predominant color was blue- it was the Water book.

Season two's presominant color was green- it was the Earth book.

Season three's predominatn color was red- it was the Fire book.

See where I'm going with this? No? Let me give you a hint; four nations, four elements, three seasons... what's missing?

That's right, boys and girls, a season with predominantly yellow- an Air Book!!!

Of course now that the world's saved and everything is good, it would be pretty hard to make a good fourth season.

Unless of course, it was "The Hobbit" book of the series- a prequel/sequel or something.

No. They specified that if they did continue the season it wouldn't revolve around the gAang. Also, they have always planned for just three books. Air wasn't included because Aang never had to learn air. The three books each symbolized the element he learned in that time period.

Here's the info from the Comic-Con site:

7:30-9:15 Nickelodeon Avatar: Sozin's Comet— Executive producer and creator team Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino have built one of the most astonishingly complex and beautifully animated series in television with Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. Join Bryan, Mike, and Avatar director Joaquim Dos Santos (G.I. Joe Microseries) for a viewing of the exciting back-half of the AvatarRoland Poindexter, VP, Nickelodeon original programming, animation. season finale, "Sozin's Comet: Into the Inferno" and "Sozin's Comet: Avatar Aang," followed by a Q&A with the team as they discuss the rich mythology of the series, as well as a costume contest and fan art contest! Moderated by Room 6CDEF

I read somewhere on avatarspirit that it is a big room and maybe they had somekind of announcement to make.

Let's hope they have some good news for us!

Do you think I'm a n00b?? I was a fan when you were still in diapers, pal!! Of course I know they planned for 3 books! Of course I know why! Of course I know the symbolism involved- but it still just seems odd to have the whole series revolving around FOUR nations, FOUR elements, and only THREE of them represented by seasons of Avatar. All I'm saying is that the series feels incomplete, and adding an Air book is the best way I can think of to complete it.

I definitely hope they make the needed announcements to provide us Avatards with some closure, or with the future of the Avatar series. Whether they do or do not do a season 4, I would like to see the what they have planned for us. It definitely looks very interesting . I'm real excited... now I just need to find the place to watch it XD. Hopefully G4 will have coverage over the Avatar panel.

But it's not odd because the books were not based on the reason that there were four elements. They were solely based on the fact that Aang learned that element in that season. They had one purpose only. And I'll let the diapers remark slide because unlike you I wasn't trying to criticize someone. I just pointed out some facts.

Ahahaa. Actually, an insane amount of rumors has been circulating about a new spin off. Mike and Byran mentioned it, but they didn't confirm it by any means. I hope they do make a spin off. I like the way they ended this season, and in the spin off I think we'll see more of Aang anyway because he's an Avatar. We saw an insane amount of Roku, so I'm pretty confident.

Okay, but that's why I suggested an Air book kindof like "The Hobbit" of the Lord of The Rings series- a prequel or something where we see how aang grew up in the air temples or maybe how he continues to help the world after the war, ect. Oh and I love people like you who say "I'll let that comment slide", when by saying that they are not letting it slide but rather showing off how noble they are. If you really wanted to let somehing slide, then let it slide instead of responsing to it indirectly so as to look like the good guy.
Anyways, sorry for the diapers comment in the first place- uncalled for and rude(albeit humorous). My bad. I'm just still shell-shocked from Avatar being gone. Sorry.

I screamed . I guess they could do the prequel, but Bryke already stated that if they do make another series that it won't focus around the gAang and it'll be about a new Avatar. They might have something like a prequel in the DVD box set.

The only reason why I don't want a spin off with new characters is for the current characters we have . They've developed so much and viewers simply don't want to let go of them . Although, I can definitely see the possibility of running this amazing series into the ground if they decide to further the gAang's stories. Yet, seeing as how brilliant the creators of Avatar are, anything is possible.

Sorry.

I forgive you =] We're all emotionally unbalanced now that Avatar is over, ahahaha. I swear, it's a hard thing to deal with. I had a dream that Avatar would have a spin off and then woke up. I screamed . I guess they could do the prequel, but Bryke already stated that if they do make another series that it won't focus around the gAang and it'll be about a new Avatar. They might have something like a prequel in the DVD box set.

Whoa, you actually slept last night? Lucky... I think I dozed alittle past midnight.
