I think that bloodbending should be used when needed. it's okay if you use it for funny sometime, but then you should not get carried away with it

I would hope not. The fact is, Katara thinks the technique itself is sick. I do believe it should be used in desparate situations or when needed. But for water-bending, show discussion-wise, this technique is bad.

I thought it was awsome, Katara should use it every time she gets into a fight.

I think bloodbending is too powerful. someone with those powers (Katara) will be unbeatablein1 on 1 combat.

Katara was def more powerful then the original user of the technique so do you think she can use it outside the full moon?

AndI hope Katara uses, and kicks some ass!

I would love to see Katara use it, but the way it was introduced to her, I think it is in a direct conflict with her personality. Blood Bending forces someone against there will, like ripping them apart within themselves and then controlling and bending there will to the blood bender's command. Well, that's slightly exxagerating, but I doubt Katara would use it, I just can't see her doing it.

I don't think they should have gone there with the bloodbending. Theres just to much room for contradiction.

There's no way she'll be able to use it outside of the full moon. It's already godmode enough.

I really agree that Katara only uses it for good and only under dire circumstances. it is just not like her to use it. i hope she uses it on Zuko or Azula. Even though i'm a huge Zutarian, i still think it would be cool if they fought in the DOBS and she uses it. The solar eclpise means that the moon blocks out the sun right? or am i wrong. confused here people. just saying it would be pretty awsome!

Yeah, who knows if it'll be considered a full moon though. Full moons are when the sun fully lights up the side of the moon facing the Earth. The moon will be a big black blotch covering up the sun during the eclipse. Whether she draws extra power from it or not will be interesting. Also, it's kind of symbolic. The moon covering up the sun. So, very possible she may draw extra power from it for that reason as well.

Yin and Yang. There's always a countermeasure. I'm sure Azula, Ozai or even Aang will find a way to counterbalance Katara. People once thought Azula was unbeatable thanks to her lightning. No so now.

I think I can also post this message here: Many people say that Katara is incredibly powerful now thanks to her newly found bending techniques. However, the writers can say that Katara's new powers like pulling water from thin air & bloodbending are only available during a full moon. They can say that Katara may be a master but not high enough to do these new techniques any time of the day. The moon/Yue must have helped her during "The Puppetmaster".

Also, I think that most of the waterbenders don't learn about the Bloodbending and moisture-bending since they didn't need to know them. Waterbenders use whatever water is available, and in the North and South pole, water is everywhere. They can more easily and more readily bend the snow/ice than the water in the body. Hamma did say that she discovered that she can bend the water in the body only after being held captive in a prison with little water. In her desperation, she had to bend the water that was available to her - the water in rats and humans. Just my speculation.

Hamma pulled the water out of the flowers in broad daylight, not under the full moon.
