Guys I have not read 'Sozin's Comet' and so this is a spoiler-free topic essentially.
But in today's online issue of ToonZone reviewer Ed Liu makes a rather startling statement and I want to know your thoughts on it.
"The sense of finality to "Sozin's Comet" is also noteworthy. Franchises seem to be the theme of the day at many media companies, with many movies and TV shows getting more and more brazen at leaving doors wide open for interminable sequels and spin-offs. There are definitely unresolved plot elements and unanswered questions by the end of "Sozin's Comet," and it is unquestionable that Avatar's creators, its fans, and Nickelodeon all want more stories set in the richly engrossing Avatar world. Even so, "Sozin's Comet" provides a powerful sense of closure to Aang's story. This tale is Finished."

Guys that capitial 'F' in finished is NOT a typo.
Get it? Jesus' last words before dying on the cross: "It is finished."
Holy crap, surely Mike and Bryan have not opted to kill Aang off and therefore Mr. Liu can say with great certainty that 'Aang's tale is Finished?'
Your thoughts?
