he was just probably unconcious... not dead.

He was totally dead. How do you get hit in the spine with lightning and not die? Have you not seen the gaping wound on his back? XP

lol well in the avatar world... anything is possible.

Ah, that's where you're wrong. The avatar world is not much unlike our own. People are still mortal. But, we just had a very long arguement about this on another thread. It has never been made absolutely, ridiculously clear. But, I think we can safely assume one or the other by the end of tomorrow.

lol not much unlike our own... oh yea because in our world people can move earth and water with a simple "swish" of their hands and make fire balls come out of their palms and lets not forget people in our world can of course ride their little air balls to anywhere they please. and lets not forget all the wonderful crossbreads of animals in our world... you know like the pig rooster. um... i'm pretty sure "in the world of avatar... anything is possible."
With the leaps in gene splicing the pig-rooster could soon become a reality

oh yeah. that should make avatar all the more like our world.

No, they've already done the kill Aang thing. No we need something original, something never before seen or done on Avatar... lets burn Zuko's face off!

All because they can bend elements doesn't make them invincible. We've witnessed people die in this show. It doesn't take a miracle to kill them. If you shot Katara in the chest she would die. If you stuck a knife in Toph's back, she would die. They aren't immortal. Aang can be killed just as easily as you and I can, except he has better means of protecting himself. He would not die any slower than I would if someone stabbed us both.

You still don't survive something like that though. It has fantasy elements, but come on...I mean, Jet was killed by less.

yes but jet is not a main character and he's a non-bender so therefore it wouldn't take that much to kill him. while aang is the main character and divine.... it'll take much more to kill him.
When did it ever say on the show that non-benders die easier when hit with a giant rock to the chest than other benders? And even if Aang is divine it never said that he's impervious to damage, or that he heals at an accelerated rate.

or maybe aang was about to die but katara saved him in the knick of time so he didn't die in the avatar state.

If he was about to die he would've just been hurt, and that's all. Aang specifically said "I went down. I didn't just get hurt, did I? It was worse than that. I was gone. But you brought me back."

Enough!!! No body is going to die unless Nick shows a "Viewer Discression is Srongly Adviced"! so with that said, look for a "peacefull' ending, my guess is that Ozai will kill himself due to the comet being too powerfull to control.
