I was thinking about how the bending actually took place from a scientific point of view. |
From a scientific point of view bending is impossible.

Anything that happens is possible. If it weren't possible, it wouldn't happen. I don't see scientists in the Avatar-verse disproving bending and asking everyone to please put down their impossible floating rocks and fireballs.
Nothing goes against science, because science has the unfair advantage of encompassing all truth.

Well said.

I see it when I'm filling it, I'm thirsty, and when I'm emptying it, I'm not.
So its fulmpty.

Technically if humans could use a larger percent of their brains we could do all kinds of crazy stuff. Bending is entirely possible in our world, just like telekinesis or mind-reading is often not as fictional as we think. Or I could be watching too much of the X-Files.
Question though, if Waterbenders can manipulate hydrogen and oxygen atoms, that would mean Airbenders do hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, etc. Earthbenders would need a bunch of them, which would change depending on where you are. Which modern elements do Firebenders manipulate? Fire doesn't follow the rules of the other elements.
Isnt fire the release of energy frim an object
and from tfm "fire is life and energy"
