You know, maybe Ozai sent Azula after them. I mean Zuko did kind of hurt his pride turning his sudden lightning attack right back at him. You know, just a guess...
Why cant Ozai do anything for himself. Lets send his children to do his dirty work. Would he even mind if azula gets killed?

Azula? Yes I think he would care. He seems to adore his daughter. In ways only a crazy dictator can.

I don't think adore is the right word. I just think he trusts her more than he does Zuko. She is more ruthless, like Ozai. There has never really been any proof that he actually likes Azula, but it's pretty obvious that he enjoys her company more than Zukos.
I think it's because he thinks she's stronger and won't hold back at all like Zuko would. Zuko was good, but confused.

I might be wrong but it seemed hinted that he cared about her due to her natural skill. Zuko said something like "He said she was born lucky. He said I was lucky to be born." So either Zuko was a preemie or he saw something in Azula from the start that wasn't there with Zuko. The craziness inherited from Sozin perhaps?

I think Ozai was referring to the fact that Azula showed exceptional skill. She has mastered using lightening, even something Zuko hasn't. It was nothing personal on any level.

She does have skill. We can tell that. The crazy blue fire, lightning bending, and Jetpack!Azula. I think her skill ranks up there with Iroh's. But then we don't really know Ozai's skills. All we've seen so far is his lightning.

I'm kind of confused by your question, but here's what happened. Azula started attacking which obviously took everyone by surprise. They shielded themselves and Toph immediately started digging a tunnel to travel through. Appa refused to go into it, so the more important members of the gAang (Toph, Sokka, Suki, Katara, Aang, and Zuko) decided to take Appa and fly out. The rest of the gAang used the tunnel to escape. Zuko tried to distract Azula and after a huge impact during one of their fights, he fell off the air balloon and the gAang caught him on Appa. So, now the gAang is split in two.
To answer his question: the rest of the gaang(least important members) took the airship that Zuko and Sokka stole from azula at the end of The Boiling Rock. Zuko jumped onto Azula's new airship where they proceeded to fight. ^^

Ok, what happened to those who went in the tunnel? Katara told them to hop on the stolen ship. Now when Zuko fell and then rose back up to fight his sister, what was he standing on? Was it that ship that he had stolen or was it one of the ones that had arrived with Azula?

I've been waiting for the glorious day of Avatar's world wide realization. Why has it even taken this long? Avatar is not in any way a kids show and never will be. It's about serious subjects. Maybe once in an episode something silly will happen, like Sokka's love scene =p. But, things like that also have a deeper purpose. There's nothing "kiddy" about this show. Why it's aired on Nick, I have never understood. And it truly was amazing when he said he would kill the Fire Lord. Jesus, this is so epic!

Are you arguming with me or agreeing aggressively, because you're basically repeating me. I said it wasn't just Zuko all those ships were after. For Azula, getting the Avatar is the goal, eliminating Zuko is the icing on the cake.

It'll all probably be cleared up tomorrow =] It's called a cliff hanger. It's done to make people like you anxious beyond belief. We have no idea what happened to them after they disappeared.

I saw that =D I wish they would've explored the bloodbending more in that episode. I hope Zuko confronts her later. It would be quite interesting to hear Katara's take on bloodbending now.

I just saw this episode and I think it was a pretty good episode, the emotions were good the humour was good, and the innuendo. Kinda of a let down though, I was hoping Katara would beat up on the man a little bit more, but still a pretty good episode.

More Azula would've been great, but an episode in only so long. And it's about time they got rid of the tag alongs.

I believe this is where Aang will start doubting himself and questioning what he has to do against Ozai.

    Great episode

Katara was acting just like Aang when Appa was kidnapped

    But instead they swtich roles

The scene with Sokka in the tent was funny

If they had something like two teens almost hooking up in a tent by themselves they wouldn't have a problem with Aang killing the firelord

The thing Zuko was nice too bad Katara went on like Jet

And Azula, you would think from all her minor defeats to wait to attack at the comet arrival instead of risking her life

    Great Episode

    10 out of 10

And the fact that he keeps a wall of firing surrounding him 24/7 =p He's got to be really powerful, or else Aang wouldn't be scared. Plus, the commercials show him epically firebending. I'd say he's pretty good =]
