I'm pretty sure Ozai just made Azula that way.

She gave Zuko more encouragement because he wasn't godmodded, and there is no excuse for a complete lack of empathy when a caring relative dies.

azula is crazy, plain and simple, the onlyway for the series to end is with her dying or being imprisoned in a mental hospital for life.

Death on nickelodeon? It would have to be an implied death which would suck for such a good character. Imprisoned is far more likely.

Well, in my defense, I was having a nervous breakdown at the time.

You know, I think people are like chef's salads. Everyone has some good and evil, and it depends how much of it is good. Azula has the most horrible ingredients, but deep down there is a little good that was revealed in the beach. I doubt that ingredient will be found again, and for the rest of the series, once again the horrible ingredients will overpower her. The little good she has is not enough. If the circumstances were different maybe the good would be victorious but its too late.

Nice analogy. But I have to disagree, the Beach showed part of the reason for why she turned out the way she did; it didn't show her to be good. She trashed those poor kid's house.

Azula could outfirebend grown men when before she hit puberty, and by the time she was 14 she could generate lightning.

    What about that ISN'T godmodded?

She is a master firebender with blue flames (that can emit massive amounts of concussive force), she can lightningbend, has physical combat skills that exceed those of characters that RELY on physical combat (Suki), has a genius IQ, the military knowhow to conquer the supposedly invincible Ba Sing Se, and she's 14.

Really? I'm not sure she's capable of "charm," exactly.
