    i guess ur right although she cried because he just jumped in the way of lightning to save her and she now is burdened with knowing zuko risked his life to save her and yea they are friends now ^o^ but kataang has happened and it will work of course lol.

    Chill. We never said we won. We just still support the pairing even now as it enters true fandom. We wanted it for canon and you're right - it didn't happen so now we have set our sights on fanfiction. There is nothing wrong with that.

    If this is really about winning, which in my opinion it's not, then neither shipping won.

    Kataang won in the regards that it was canon. Zutara won in the regards that it has the biggest fandom in all of the ATLA shippings. Neither of them won, if you think about it.

    However, I think that Zutara is better as a ship. Not canon, but better. I mean come on, who doesn't like the idea of water and fire? No, I'm not one of the crazy zutarians who think every little thing that doesn't mean Kataang = Zutara, but there are a few hints here and there.

    that's good, cause we don't need anymore crazy zutarians. Crazy kataangers can be just as bad too, actually. and some Yokkas just hate Suki. What can I say? I've pretty much stayed neutral. Aside from my siggy over at avaportal, of course:

    I wanted to get this rant of my shoulders.

    Kataang wins.....no surprise. What I am suprised is that some zutara fans are still in denial. They think aang and mai would break up w/ their lovers in 5 yrs and zuko/katara would start banging each other. I also heard that it's not "the end" until mai/zuko & katara/aang gets married and stay married....WTF It's funny how they claim zutara would be a more lasting relationship when mike and bryan say "it would never last".

    I think 'zutarians' are far more worse than 'kataangers'. Kataangers are bad because of their gloating but zutarians keeps b!tching and moaning about how the finale ended. They are usually the one complaning how mike and bryan lead them on and expects an apology. I'm also tired of their arrogance. Their arrogant about how huge their fandom is (which is true) but talk how it's better than kataang just because it has more fans ( I adore a bunch of zutara fanarts though).

    Sorry for all the grammar/spelling mistakes XD

    First off let me say: YEAH FOR ZUTARA.

    2nd let me say: as a relationship, you know like flowers and chocalate and meeting under the pier to kiss the sunset and holding hands zuatar would NEVER EVER EVER WORK. mkay?

    Zutara would work great as an affair, simply a physical relationship, but it could never last long term.

    Kataang is weird. You know why? Because Kataras relationship of Aang was maternal!!!! their dialogue was dry, and she is far mature past her years, while he, due to his period of isolation and lack of adult influence is very immature for his age. people will say "nooo he saved the freaking world." yeah ok, unrealistic. besides the the fact that makes katara a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge couagar.

    no. think of the character profiles. Katara had that little stage were she devolved and slipped into this dark, isolated, and revenge hungry charcter, but she came out of it almost imeadatly (wouldn't it be more interesting if she had stayed a dark vigil-anti?) (oh and did anyone else notice that was blatent example of role reversal, katara became revenge hugnry zuko, zuko becaming caring and compassionate katara) But basically she is maternal, mature past her years, an optimist, and caring. Zuko, although an anti-villian, vigil-anti, and good on the inside, is dark, looming, probably more sexual, and to himself. Which is why it would make a great affair (only when katara was dark and reaching out in desperation) but other than that, the character would clash too much, and aruging would eventually tear them apart. how do i know all this? I'm looking at from a writer's standpoint, aspiring profilers standpoint, and drawing a little from my own dysphunctional exuses for relationships.

    And that is why I find most Anti-Kataang viewers lacking in validity. They think relationships should follow a sterotypical standard. For that same reason, people object to Maiko, because the manly man should get the girl with a the outlook of a Barbie doll (Mai's far from ugly, but she doesn't conform to the sterotypical girlish standards).

    Much like how Aang had to find his own way to ensure peace, a couple must make their own rules and standards rather than copying the lifestyles of other couples (i.e. Boyfriend has to be same age or older, girlfriend has be girlish).
